Chapter 16

Justin's POV:

I spot a heavy-set black girl walk from the room. She was probably Taylor's friend... or Julia's.

Either way, it's late at night.

She looks at me. Then, she smirks. "...You seeing anybody lately?" She whispers.

"Uh... I'm uh, I'm dating someone,"

"Oh really? Who?" My god, is she really that nosy?

I couldn't stop myself from the word I'm going to say next. It just popped: "Taylor," I suddenly covered my mouth, full with embarrassment.

The girl just nods.

"Well you have good taste. She sounds like a much better person than Julia. If I was a man, I'd date her myself," She winked, right before she left.

Why did I say that?!

I groan. No! It's Julia! JULIA!! Julia is my girlfriend, the girl who I'll always be with...

The image of Julia was in my mind. Her blonde hair, peaceful brown eyes, and elegant look. Her smile was graceful upon her bright red lips.

Suddenly, as I imagined holding her face in my hands, the image fades and changes into a brunette girl with brown-grey eyes. Her light pink lips upon mine.

A smile spreads across my face.

Taylor... wait- Taylor?!

My mind flashed awake. My eyes expand. What... have... I done...?

I breathe. It's just a daydream...

I couldn't help but to go to Taylor's dorm. I knocked on the door.

"What the heck is this?! Party in Julia and Taylor's room or something?!" I hear Taylor yell out.

Yep. I knew she's not gonna be asleep.

I chuckle as she opens the door.

She was wearing pajamas that were a long-sleeved button up shirt with night shorts that both had the same design of cats and macaroons.

"I never thought of that! Yeah! Let's have a party! Where are the snacks?" I joked.

She laughs under her covered hand. "What are you doing here? Julia is doing her nails right now..."

"Actually, I came to see you," I corrected her.

She tiptoes out of the room and closed the door behind her. "Yeah?"

"Yeah,"

I lend out a hand. "I thought you might join me for maybe... a walk?"

She nods. "Let me change into something other than..." She looks down. "...Well... pajamas,"

I laughed. "Go ahead! I'll wait for you,"
