"Julia called..." I started off, slowly.

"And...?"

I sighed. "And, she wanted to know where you were at?" Taylor frowns.

"She always wants to know my business." She rolls her eyes, scooping a spoonful of ice cream into her mouth. "She's like an older sister of some sort."

"Do you have an older sister?"

She shakes her head. "Yeah. She's half. But she acts nothing like Julia."

I started to think... why was everyone think so negative about Julia? How has she been since i'm gone to college? Now I start to wonder if this even started during high school and I didn't know.

I sighed and scooped a little of Taylor's cookie dough ice cream.

She opens her jaw wide.

"...Are you serious?!"

"You know what?!" She dips into my cookies and cream. "I LOVE cookies and cream! Ever since I was a little girl!!" She finishes with her mouth full.

I started to laugh as I kept chasing her.

Taylor's POV:

The phone rings.

"Could you get that for me, Taylor!" Julia shouts out from the other room.

I picked up the phone. "Julia Brown... Uh... residence... May I help you?"

"Is this Taylor Bee?"

I nod slowly. "Yes, this is Taylor Bee..."

"Oh! Well, I'm happy to tell you that tryouts for the dance starts on June 3rd,"

I looked upon my phone screen: Sunday, May 27th

A huge grin spreads across my face. "Okay, thank you so much!"

"No problem Miss Bee,"

I hung up the phone, jumping on my bed. "AHH!!" I literally almost screamed. It made Julia jump.

"What happened to you?"

I pressed my pillow against my face. "I made the tryouts..." I say, my voice muffled.

"Sorry?"

I smacked the pillow on my lap. "I made the tryouts!!" I repeated.

"That's good, but how do you know that you're gonna make it to the actual competition?"

I grasped onto her shoulders.

"Julia, do you know what this means?"

"No, not really."

"It means... I have a chance!"

Julia's brown eyes light up. "You... you got a chance for finals!!!" We clutched onto each other as we both screamed like giddy girls.
