She shakes her head, laughing. "I can't really dance,"
"I'll show you," Julia was hesitant at first.
By the time she gets my hand, my arm felt like it was about to fall out of my body.
(Play song):
I put my hands on her hips as she puts her hands around my neck. Then, we sway across the room.
"Justin...?"
"Yes?"
"When we graduate... do you have any plans?"
I smiled. "...I will go to college in California and spend my time with you, day and night," I promised.
Her brown eyes turn up at me. "But... your mom..."
"We figured out an agreement,"
She smiles. "...You're so great Justin,"
We lean our heads together gently. Then, we connect our lips.
I heard that there's always that thing called a spark in every romance movie. I didn't really feel funny or anything different... maybe that 'spark' was just made up, perhaps? I don't really know for sure.
Julia was the first and only girl I'd ever fell for.
I wasn't bothered with it at that time...

(Later...)
I got up due to the sound of my blue dog alarm, the alarm that my little sister Sarah bought me for one Christmas, which always makes an annoying sound.
"Good morning big brother!" Sarah yells cheerfully.
"Oh yeah... and good morning to you and your alarm," I say, frowning.
What worse is: Sarah has a pink cat alarm.
"At least it works! Make sure to take it with you during college! You promised me!" She says, planting her hands on her hips.
I bend down my knees to meet her level. "Yes Sarah, I remember promising you..."
My mom, in scrubs as always, sits there and smiles.
"I'm gonna miss you, Justin!"
I give her a hug. "I know mom..."
I look over at my sister and smile. "And mostly... I'll miss this Cookie Monster!" My fingers poke her, tickling her. She giggles and falls on the floor, crying.
"Okay, let's go before we all become late!" Mom says.
We all laugh as our dad comes downstairs. "Yes, and we don't want that to happen,"
As soon as Sarah was dropped off to her intermediate school, my mom drops me off to the airport to have me catch a plane since Arizona was far away from California.
I gave my mom and kiss on the cheek and one last hug before I head off to my first class plane.
