Justin's POV:

As soon as performance starts, I sat in the front row.

I wanted to see Taylor on stage before I make any possible decisions to talk to her.

I watch as she dances the night away with the Dua Lipa song called "Swan Song". I recognized it during the training performance with the dance trainer. The light shone on her glittery makeup-styled game face as she stretched her limbs and forearms outward.

"What are you doing here?" A familiar glaring-like female voice. "Haven't you done enough, already?"

I sighed. "Julia."

She turns me around. "I said what are you doing?"

"Look, I can explain to her. I want to be with her, okay. I want to explain how much I love her."

Julia's jaw drops. "You cheated on me, Justin! Do you not freaking realize that! You cheated with my roommate! And now, you're seeing her performance and acting like everything's normal. Do you NOT understand how fucked up that is right now?!"

I try to keep calm. "I know how bad this may sound, but, with all my heart, I've never connected with anyone but Taylor." Julia looks pissed. I'm trying to make the situation better. I sighed again. "Listen, I loved you, Julia. But... we just weren't right for each other, you know?"

Whenever Taylor finishes, the audience claps as the three main people in the crowd had nodded and wrote down their commentary on their sheets.

Julia starts to think, then stares at me. "I just wanna know... if you didn't really like me."

"Of course I liked you. I loved you, Julia. But... we're not right for one another. And- not because I'm making excuses about the cheating, I mean, I do feel horrible about doing that to you... but, you gotta understand, it's not because of you; you didn't cause anything in our relationship. We just... it's just better for us not to hit it off, and I'm sorry. But maybe there's someone better for you."

"You think?"

I nod. "Oh yeah, I know." I continue, "You might've been a good part of my life, but Taylor... she just glows when I see her. She's the only one who truly thought about me and cared about me- not saying that you didn't- but soemthing about her is just... different. And it's a good thing, of course. I never met anyone like Taylor and that's special to me. I may have had a plan that my prom sweetheart was gonna be the one until... I met her. At that moment, my plans had changed, and all I wanna do is to tell her how much of a jerk I've been to her, especially when doing something like hiding the fact that we were together."

Julia looks down. "I never told her we were dating."

"I know, but it was my fault. I should've been the one to tell her first." She looked surprised that I had held responsibility against myself. "But... she's up on that stage, dancing her heart out and being a beautiful star up there that I messed everything up."

"Maybe you didn't." My heart clutched up at the sound of Taylor's voice.

I turned around, her feet walked down the stage stairs, slowly, with her leggings shifting.

"Taylor, I-"

"No need. I heard everything."

I cocked my head. "Everything?" I ask in a stupid tone that makes her laugh.

"Everything, everything." I nod, impressed. She grins. "I heard about what you said, and your apology, and so much great comments about me, and... I can't help but forgive you."

I grin like an idiot. "Really?"

Taylor shakes her head. "Oh yeah, NO stupid! I would never forgive you until you fall to the ground and cry like a baby!" She snorts. "Of course I will."

"Even if it means this?" I'm on my knees and fake crying. "WAHH!! WAHHH!! PLEASE FORGIVE ME, WAHHHH!!!"

Taylor bursts out laughing. "You're so stupid," She shakes her head. "But... I love you." She wraps her arms around me. "Justin Bieber," She jokes, "...I forgive you."

This makes me smile ten times wider.

All of a sudden, one of the judges coughs ahem as we jolt. "Thank you," He says in sophistication. "Now, I want to thank you for the lovely performance. May I speak with you in private?"

Taylor looks at me. I nod. "Good ahead."

She lets go of me and whispers, "What if it's bad?"

"What if it's GOOD?" I encourage. She knows what I'm doing and ends up smiling.

Taylor follows him and mouths to me, "Thank you."

I nod and head over with Heidi, Tyson, Leilani, and Anthony. Just as Julia pulls me aside. "I wanna tell you something first." I'm waiting for her response. "I forgive you too, Justin."

I smile. "Thanks, Julia."

She nods. "Alright, then. If Taylor's happy, then I'm happy." I agree. "But if you hurt her... your ass is mine. Remember that." She points.

I snort. "I understand."

Julia smiles in satisfaction. "Great. Good ahead, then. I hope you and Taylor stay happy together."
