I walked cheerfully because I'm about to follow Leilani's advice and chase after her.
Im about to find Taylor... and tell her the truth... but it'll be better than keeping my inner feelings within my heart instead of having it spilt out.
My footsteps reach at the dorm.
I walk up to the door and sighed. I knock on the door. I breathed, shakily.
What am I supposed to say? What should I do?
I shook myself off, knowing that it'll come to me when I see her pretty face staring right at me.
(The music slowly dies down...)
I expected Taylor to answer, but I approached a different face. A face that I only noticed for two seconds right before a hand slaps me.
My mouth breathed in shock.
It's Julia. And, boy, she's looking pissed.
"What the HELL, Justin??" Julia screams. I'm staring at her, confused. "Oh, don't gimme that look! I know what you did!"
Huh?
I furrow my eyebrows. "What... did I do?"
Her teeth clenched, her blonde hair crinkling. "I know the truth... and so does she."
Julia points to someone behind the wall and I knew exactly who she was pointing at.
Taylor steps out, her eyes glossy with tears.
Oh no...

Two hours earlier... (Taylor's POV):
I go straight home in the dorm building, walking down the hallway to my dorm room.
My hand shoves in my bag, lurking for my key. I had it, but dropped it.
Instead of complaining about it, I just laugh about it and drop down to my knees in order to grab it. I just about had it when I heard the door open. Julia.
My head lifts up and met her eyes.
I smile. "Hey, Jul! I was just about to call-"
"What the fuck is wrong with you." Julia interrupts angrily, folding her arms so tight that I knew this was personal.
I squint. "What?" She still has narrow eyes. "I... don't understand. Why are you so upset?"
"You KNOW why I'm upset, Taylor! I mean, what in the actual hell!"
I'm so confused. I'm so hurt because I'm confused and I don't know why she's yelling at me. She never gets upset with me. Ever.
Julia huffs. "Did you kiss Justin?" What?
I scoff. "Is this what this is about? Really?"
"Did you?"
I stare into her eyes, not knowing why she would be so upset with this. I'm scared to answer, but I do so anyway. "...Yeah. But I don't know-"
Right before I could finish my question, a brief stingy feeling comes towards my cheek.
I faintly gasped. She... slapped me.
"You bitch!" I slightly look up at her. "Why the hell would you be hooking up with him?? Behind my back??"
"Why the heck would it matter to you?? You two are best friends!"
"HE'S NOT JUST-" She stops for a brief moment. At that point, she looks at me. She's not angry at me anymore, now she's turned concern. "Wait... you didn't know?"
I cock my head. "Didn't know... what?"
"Oh god, I..." Julia gasps. "He never told you... I never told you..."
I shook my head slowly in confusion. "Were you two... dating?"
She bites her lip. "We are dating..."
Those words struck my heart. Now it's sinking deep beneath my soul, much deeper than guilt.
Julia bursts into tears. "...And you never knew about it- oh my god!" She points to herself, "...I'm the bitch, not you!"
"I'm so sorry."
She shook her head. "No, Taylor... I'm the one who's sorry. I should've never slapped you. I was wrong."
We decide to hug it out while falling into tears.

Present time (Justin's POV):
"Taylor..." I start.
She held up her hand, stopping me. "Don't, Justin. Just don't." I shut my mouth so she could speak. She doesn't say anything for a while. She's still silent.
Say something, please. Something, anything.
Taylor breathes. "This whole time... you were with Julia... and..." She's choking on her own tears. "You never mentioned anything about it."
"I... forgot-"
"How can you forget you had a girlfriend, Justin?! I wouldn't forget if I had someone special!" She motions with her hands, upset.
What can I say? I don't know what to say.
I mumble, but nothing comes out. She shakes her head, her lips quivering.
I can't let her leave. She's the best thing that's ever happened to me.
"...Taylor, please. Let me explain-"
"Leave me alone, please." She walks in the dorm, down the hallway. Her body has now disappeared.
I lean in the door to follow her, but Julia pushes me.
"You heard her. Leave her alone." She shuts the door in my face.
I'm still standing here with the door shut.
I'm so sorry, Taylor.
