"I really screwed up this time." I tell, nodding.

Heidi scoffs. "Yeah, buddy. I bet you did!" She shoved me. I deserve that.

I sighed. "I hate to do this... but I could really ask for your help." She lifts a brow. "...Again."

"Damn." She laughs, looking impressed. "You actually want my help again?"

"Yes, Heidi. I'm desperate."

She scoffs. "Sure you are." Her hands slap onto my shoulders. "Look at me." I don't fully look at her. "I said LOOK AT ME!!"

"OKAY, I'M LOOKING AT YOU NOW!"

Heidi smiles, wickedly. "Good. Now, I want you to know that... you really did screw up..."

"Yeah, I think I've already figured that out."

She sticks her finger in my face. "And I would just LOVE to come and be the greatest friend and help you out, buddy, but... I can't."

My brow raised up. "You can't?"

"No. This seems... a little more complicated than my speed. I really don't know how to help you..." She then thought of something fast. She starts to grin and I had a feeling she has a good idea. "...But I know who might be able to come to your rescue."

"...Like who?"

Someone knocks at the door.

Heidi gasps, contently. "He's here!"

A really tall, bulky-muscled African American guy appears in our dorm. My eyes form wide.

"Remember how I mentioned my boyfriend, Tyson?"

My eyes shifted towards the tall dude. "Woah, wait!" I pointed to him. "He's Tyson? Your... XXX boyfriend you talked over the phone with?"

"Pleased to meet you too, Justin." His voice is deep. Like, really deep.

My eyes grew wider, turning towards Heidi. "How does he know my name?"

"Oh, I tell him everything."

I stand there, shocked. "Wait- are you serious?" She shrugs, laughing. "Wow, bro. What a great roommate I've had."

"You should've been glad that she called me over to come and fix your situation." He turns to Heidi. "I need to speak with him alone, babe."

She smiles, placing her hands in the pockets of her black ripped jeans. "You guys want coffee?"

"Dunkin' Donuts sound great."

Heidi gave a thumbs-up. "Three Dunkin' Donuts coffees, coming up." After that note, she left the room and out of the dorm to go at our nearby campus Dunkin' Donuts.

As soon as Tyson hears the door close, he looks directly at me. "You want some while we wait?"

He points to a Diet Coke can. I nod.

Tyson nods slowly while having a soda ready in his hand and passing me one. I hear the Coke can make a swish sound when it opened.

"So... tell me about this, "Taylor". Is she someone you feel... right with?"

I sipped, feeling confused. "What do you mean?"

"When you kissed... did you feel that spark?" He asked, clutching his hands in gesture.

I shook my head. "Sparks are in the movies... I don't know if they're real. But... I felt something for Taylor that I never found when I was with Julia."

Tyson pats my knee. "See? Spark."

I raised my brow. "That's what a spark is?" He nods his head. I sigh. "Oh wow, maybe... it is real."

He huffs. "Of course it's real! Many people find it when they're with the one they love, and to the people with complicated relationships... they find it slower than others. It depends, but you will find it- and you did, but you never noticed it."

"But... Taylor's never gonna forgive me." I reminded.

Tyson sits in silence for a moment. Then, he scoots closer to me. "I'm going to tell you something... and it might help gain confidence in your situation..."

"Okay...?"

"...I need to tell you... about the story between me and Heidi."
