Taylor's POV:

I lift to stretch my legs to prepare for my upcoming dance performance. It's finals and I must be ready.

As much as I think about Justin, my heart is crushed. Every time I think about him, an image is in my mind. Every time I don't think about him, an image is in my mind. No matter what, there will always be an image of Justin in my mind.

"You ready, Taylor?" Coach Jeffrey asks.

I nod. "Yeah, I'm ready." Get ahead of the game.

He played the song from the computer attached boomboxes:

My beginning was perfect, all twirls were great.

When it came to the middle, I leaped, an image of Justin formed, then I fell down.

He stopped the music. "Taylor? You alright?-"

I looked at the floor for a moment right before I started to cry. I held my head in between my legs, curling my arms around them. I never imagined myself breaking down on the dance floor.

I heard footsteps come up the mini stair steps.

"Taylor... what's wrong, sweetheart?"

I sniffed. "I can't do this... not when I'm thinking about him. I think about him anyway, so I dunno what's the point of not thinking about him." I ramble on until Jeffrey stops me.

"...What did that boy say to you?"

I rub my mascara-filled eyes- thank god it's waterproof- and look at him. "He... was with Julia."

"He was seeing Julia while he was with you?"

"No..." I shook my head. "He's been dating Julia, like, this entire time. But no one told me. Not even Julia herself."

"Why didn't your roommate say anything?"

I shrugged. "I don't know. I thought he was just a friend of hers."

Jeffrey sighs. "Well, he should've told you."

He had a hand up for me. "Here, stand up. We have two hours until the performance starts."
