"Wand" Mal bowed her head and looked at Ben before handing over the wand. 

Jay and Ella truly loved each other no matter how messed up and toxic their relationship was. Ella may have to manipulate him at times but his feelings were genuine and so were hers. She didn't know what she would do without him. She didn't want him for any reason rather than still having that little Auradon princess in her at the time who still believed in true love. And she truly loved Jay.

Jazzy's eyes shimmered with insanity, "Don't play with me, I play to win"

Carlos Knew that this was the only outcome were he would be loved and gain the power to get away from his mother, he knew Jazzy was the lesser of Evils as he wouldn't be subjected to manipulation, seduction, or Bloodlust, and Jazzy was by far the most driven by her emotions if she hated him she would let him know.
