Chapter Nine

Ella was the Queen of a lot of things and one was being able to mark her manipulation in someone so deep that she didn't even have to be in front of them to think of her. So when Ben asked Mal out just as Ryder predicted Mal's mind Immediately flew to her and she went looking for her. it was only as an after though that she thought of Evie. 

Evie skipped over to Doug, Ella, and Aaron in the courtyard just as she saw Carlos and Jazzy wave goodbye. Carlos' arm around her waist as he was unable to reach her shoulders, Especially with her heels on, without looking awkward. She had Chemistry with Doug and had told the others how he stopped her from getting expelled. placed her test in front of Doug's face. "For the first time it's more than just a pretty face."

"A shocker, huh?"

"You were really great in there."

"So were you." Aaron raised an eyebrow and tapped his black painted nails on the table Evie got the message and crossed the table to sit with Aaron making Doug look like a kicked puppy.

Evie shook her head, "Not as good as you, Thank you so much for helping me," Evie gave a soft smile focusing on the now trying to keep her feelings at bay. There was no gain with Doug so what was even the point. Her Mother had told her to look for a prince and that was Aaron. he would give her everything her mother said she deserved. "I bet I can get an A on the next test without the mirror."

"Yeah. Well, maybe we can get together and We'll hang out..."

"Yeah, let's get together." Aaron squeezed the part of her arm that he was holding under the table, not even changing his face. Ella said nothing, "I mean I'll see if i have time for us to study together."

"Ryder owes me Twenty bucks." Aaron grumbled.

They heard hurried footsteps approach, "There you are" Mal said walking up. "I have been looking literally everywhere for you two and Jazzy."

"What's wrong?" Ella and Evie asked at the same time.

"Ben just asked me on a date." she whispered the last part as if saying out loud would cause mass panic.

"Nice" Doug said while Aaron gave her a thumbs up.

Evie Squealed, "We can handle this. Bye." She waved at Doug and Aaron.

Aaron Just sat with a harsh glare in Doug's direction as if he was threatening to tear out his soul

Mal and Evie's dorm

Ella was doing Mal's hair and Evie was doing her make-up, and Jazzy was doing her Nails. "Okay. Easy on the blush. I don't want to scare him away. Not that I could."

"Definitely not. He's bending over backwards." Ella smirked. "Everything will fall into place."

"Yeah and trust us we'll make it work, we always do," a shadow whispered in her ear and she snapped her fingers, a belt floated through the window and dropped onto her lap. "I already started my dolls." She pointed to one in a blue suit, "And Ben is done, a little gateway magic if anything," She giggled.

"lets hold of on Voodooing him yet I'm not sure how the curse will react to voodoo magic I need to do some research" Ella laughed. 

Evie giggled with her, "Anyway Please. My mom taught me how to apply blush before I could talk. Always use upward strokes."

"And my mom was teaching me to do hair before I could walk." She raised a perfectly Manicured eyebrow realizing the fact that Mal's hair was cut short in the back and longer in the front on purpose for the first time.

"My mom was never big on make-up tips and..." She chose her words very carefully "I never had to do this before. Harry didn't really care, we pretty much just looted together." She said as Evie started to dab lip gloss on and Jazzy started to blow on her nails.
