Today was the back to school party, and as much as I loved to party being around a bunch of people who I have no relation to was not my ideal way to spend a Friday night.

Nevertheless, I'm still going per Violet's request, not so much a request but more of a threat.

The day went by slowly, but I was in a better mood than yesterday. I was on my way to history, today Alex and I actually had to do something or else we would never start the project, not that either one of us cared.

"Faith my saviour." I sat down next to Alex and Oliver facing the front of the class, "you'll regret saying that when I'm making you work on the project."

Alex's face dropped and dread filled his bright eyes, "we're doing that today?" He spoke with a tone that made me want to smile, but I never did keeping a straight face.

"Yes, that's why it is called a school project," "I thought it was optional." He said with so much seriousness it concerned me, "do you have any brain cells?" "No he doesn't," Oliver said turning towards us, "Oli don't say you're hurting my feelings," "you need to have brain cells to have feelings."

Oliver and I laughed at Alex, he got up and sat on another desk at the other end of the classroom flipping us off, "should we feel bad?"

I asked in a light tone with laughter filling my dull voice, "it's Alex he'll come back in five seconds," "I'm not surprised."

Just like Oliver said Alex was back in his seat before the teacher even walked into the room, Alex and I were now working on the project gathering pointless information, "this is so stupid."

"Tell me about it," "Faith why can't we just leave it to the last minute?" "Because we have time now to do and I would rather get it done in class than on my own time, understand? So get working."

"Yes Ma'am," "good." I scolded looking back down at my computer and the work sheet, "has anyone ever told you your bossy?" "Oh Alex bossy doesn't even make the list."

"Good work class I will see you all on Monday, have a good weekend." "Thank the lord were done," "Alex we wrote down like one sentence." Picking mu my bag I shoved everything in and walked up to Alex and Oliver who were waiting.

"Well its better than just our names on a page." I guess he was right, who and I kidding this kid is an idiot.

Side by side we all made our way to the cafeteria for lunch, "you wanna sit outside with us?" I asked Alex and Oliver trying to be nice.

"I knew you loved me," I lightly nudged my shoulder with his and Oliver, Alex and I walked to the outside sitting area and sat down at the lunch table.

Vi and Beca weren't there yet so we sat down claiming our table then the guys got up to get in the lunch line, "Faith are you coming?" "Oh no I brought my lunch," it was true I did bring a snack, just some cut up veggies but it was a good start for me.

Alex nodded and walked back inside the cafeteria with Oliver close behind.

"Hey Faith," looking up Vi and Beca were walking towards the table "hey I hope you don't mind but Alex and Oliver and eating with us today," "that sounds great, where are they?" They put their bags down and sat down.

"In the lunch line, I'll stay here if you want to get food," "Oh I'm good I packed my lunch" "I'll go then," Beca said getting up leaving me and Vi.

"So um was it just Alex and Oliver, not the other guys?" I held in a chuckle looking at Vi from across the table, "ya it was," "can I tell you something?" "
She asked with a small blush on her face, "Vi don't ask just tell."
