Chapter 25:

"Kazutora!" I yelled and ran in to hit Kazutora, he evaded my punch and laughed.

"Calm down, Aka-chan!" He said with a smile on his face. "While you're here, why don't you come with us?" He told me.

"Do you know each other?" Takemichi asked but neither of us responded.

I clenched my fist in anger but held it in and agreed to join them wherever they were going, I have to keep in mind that he had Takemichi. I don't want him to hurt the poor guy.

We headed outside the room and Kazutora was greeted by the two guys who were on crutches. 

"So that's the guy?" One of them asked, "Whose the girl?"

"Yup!" Kazutora answered. "She's tagging along"

"Uhmm, who are they?" Takemichi asked.

"Oh, my most trusted juniors" Kazutora answered.

"Eh? Why are their legs broken? Did anything happen?" Takemichi asked confused.

"I broke their legs yesterday" Kazutora replied casually as they headed for the exit of the school. I followed behind them, but Takemichi was still standing in place contemplating whether it was a good idea to join them.

"Takemichi-kun?" I asked, he snapped out of his trance and followed behind me.

We were walking downtown, on our way to an abandoned arcade. The two guys who were on crutches were harassing some other kid from another school just casually passing by.

"Hanemiya-kun?" Takemichi started off.

"Hmm? Just call me Kazutora" Kazutora responded.

"Kazutora-kun, you're a third-year at our school, why haven't I seen you before?" Takemichi asked hesitantly 

"I only went for one semester as a first-year" Kazutora answered confusing Takemichi. "I've been going to reform school" He added.

"You should have stayed there longer" I muttered under my breath.

"Hey now, don't be like that" Kazutora told me as he chuckled. "It was his fault anyway"

He kept blaming Mikey for his stupidity.

We then arrived at the arcade and headed inside. It was full of delinquents under Valhalla, they all stared at us, giving us death glares.

This place was dark and creepy as hell. Nothing like Toman was.

I then heard someone groaning and being hit viciously. What the hell was that? A lot of Valhalla members were gathered together watching whatever beating was taking place in the middle of the arcade.

It was Baji! He was beating up Chifuyu!

"Keisuke! What the hell are you doing?" I yelled but Baji didn't stop and continued to hit the 1st division vice captain.

Kazutora explained that it was a test of loyalty, Baji had to show everyone in Valhalla that he is 'switching religion' and is giving up his 'God' Mikey and showing his resolve in Valhalla.

"Well, is this good enough Hanma?" Baji asked Hanma Shuji who was watching everything happen.

"Kazutora, have you brought the witness?" Hanma asked.

"This is Hanagaki Takemichi from the 2nd division, and Inumaki Akaza Mikey's little girlfriend"

I'm not Mikey's girlfriend!

"She's cute"

"Let's have fun with her"

"Grab her butt"

Some of the Valhalla members whispered to each other. One of them came and groped me in the butt. I got annoyed and roundhouse kicked the guy down.

"Don't touch me with your filthy hands" I threatened.

"Did I forget to mention, she's as deadly as Mikey" Kazutora laughed. "Anyways, Takimichi here will testify what happened during Toman's gathering"

Hanma walked towards us.

"So you are Hanagaki" Hanma said

"You're the kid from the other day, do you have a deathwish?" Baji asked Takemichi then everyone in Valhalla started chanting.

"Kill him!"

Hanma raised his hand to silence everyone and started walking back to his seat.

"One of Toman's founding members and 1st Division Vice Captain, Baji Keisuke has decided to join Valhalla" Hanma said "Baji joining Valhalla will help crush Toman, but what if he's a spy? So I asked Kazutora to bring a witness"

"Eh?" Takemichi asked confused

"Hanagaki Takemichi, what did Baji say during Toman's gathering?"

"I'm joing Valhalla, from now on Toman is my enemy" Takemichi quoted.

Then there it is. Baji now being a verified member of Valhalla. What is he even thinking? Why did he suddenly want to change gangs? What is he trying to prove anyway.

It's probably because of him.

I glared at Kazutora, he faced me then smiles. I want to punch that face so bad.

Hanma then threw a Valhalla jacket to Baji finally acknowledging him as a member of Valhalla.

"We're going to crush Toman and kill Mikey, right Baji?" Kazutora asked Baji who smiled and agreed.

"Yea, I'll help you out Kazutora" Baji told Kazutora.

"Wait a minute! You're a founding member, why would you betray Mikey?" Takemichi asked Baji.

That's right, Mikey doesn't acknowledge Kazutora as a founding member, therefore he did not informed Takemichi about him.

"I shouldn't betray Toman because I'm a founding member?" Baji asked " Give me a break, he's a founding member too. Right, Akaza?" Baji added, referring to Kazutora.

"What?" Takemichi was confused

"He's right, Hanemiya Kazutora was one of the founding members of Toman" I told Takemichi "They formed Toman two years ago during our 1st year of middle school"

"Kazutora has been holding a grudge against Toman for years, I'll never forget it." Baji started off "It was the summer of 2003, when we were in our 1st year of middle school, we were running wild. It was miffle of summer but it was slightly chilly that day"

Baji then went on to tell the story of Toman was created, and how they killed Sano Shinichiro.
