Chapter 54:
I was at school, sitting quietly at my desk, holding my head in pain when Mikey came to me, handing me a small carton of strawberry milk.
"You look horrible," Mikey told me.
"Thanks, that's the first thing I want to hear on a Monday morning" I glared at him. "I had this weird dream that I can't get out of my head"
That dream looked so real to me.
Maybe it's because I kept thinking of the visions I saw too much that I ended up dreaming about it. That's the only way I can explain it.
But it's weird, how did I know Kokonoi before I met him. Why are the visions I saw looked so real too. The dreams felt so real too, I think I'm going insane.
"Tell me about it," Mikey said.
Should I tell him? But it's stupid, though pretty dark. I don't want to worry him or ruin the mood.
"It's nothing, I guess I'm just tired," I told Mikey who just gave me a questioning look.
"Mikey! Akaza-chan!" Emma said running inside our classroom. "I brought you guys your lunches!" Emma then handed us each some bento boxes, she then ran out of the room and waved goodbye at us.
"Emma would make a great wife and mother someday," I told Mikey, he smiles and nodded.
"Remember when Emma first came to the dojo?" Mikey asked me.
[Flashback]
"Everyone get in here!" Manjiro and Shinichiro's grandfather yelled from the other room. Manjiro and I were training when he suddenly called us out.
"You guys are so dead!" I teased Manjiro and Shinichiro, the two of them just glared at me and went to the other room.
"Akaza, you come here too" Mikey's grandfather yelled.
I could hear Mikey and Shinichiro snickering.
"Whatever is broken, it's all Manjiro's fault!" I quickly told the old man as I went into the other room.
Oh, there blonde little girl.
"What?!" Manjiro yelled, "Why are you blaming me?"
"You two shut up!" the old man yelled at us, flicking us in the forehead.
We all sat down in a line, in front of him. I still don't understand why am I a part of this family meeting.
"Shinichiro, Manjiro, this is Emma, your little sister" the old man introduced to everyone, "From now onwards, you're siblings"
"Oh cool!" I said, pretty excited that there would be another girl in the dojo.
"Emma, this is Akaza, she's the daughter of a very close family friend, she's practically like family, she'll be your older sister." the old man introduced me.
"I always wanted a little sister!" I said happily. "I hope we'll get along well"
"She's foreign right? Emma is a foreign name" Manjiro said, then receiving a hit in the head by his grandfather. I couldn't help but hold in my laugh.
"You guys better get along!" he said as he left the room.
"You know nothing about girls" Shinichiro teased Manjiro. "Hey, Emma! Your big brother will take care of you! I'm handsome but try to not fall in love with me!"
"Your hair is weird" Emma mumbled, making Manjiro laugh at his older brother.
"I told you to get rid of that stupid pompadour," I said as I got up from my seat. "Let's go, Manjiro. Time to clean the dojo" I said as I pulled him by his ear and dragged him to the other room.
