Chapter 81:

[Akaza's POV:]

It's been 6 months and I haven't heard anything from Shibuya, today is the day Ryuuji will come to Ikebukuro and meet me.

I've been in hiding ever since I was announced dead to the public, even my family thought I died for real. You could really do a lot with money, even fake your own death. 

During those 6 months I've been training, I needed to be strongest, enough to beat the Invincible Mikey. Aside from training, I've been gathering the top delinquents in Tokyo to be part of my gang, so far I've recruited the former members of Ikebukuro Criminal Black Members and famous delinquents in Yokohama.

I sat in front of the bathroom sink and chopped my hair off with scissors, I needed to delete my whole identity.

Inumaki Akaza is dead...

After cutting my hair short, I dyed it white so I could be completely unrecognizable. This is my metamorphosis, I'm willing to destroy myself if that's what it will take to save Mikey.

"Boss, time to go" I heard Hansen knock from outside the bathroom. I grabbed the towel and dried my hair as I stepped out of the bathroom, "Looks good,"

"I prefer my hair long," I told him, he just chuckled and escorted me to the car outside, 

We then headed to Sunshine 60 Street to meet up with Ryuuji. After all these months, Ryuuji is finally coming to me. It's been so lonely ever since I left, I don't even associate myself with these guys, it's strictly business.

I saw Ryuuji standing near the station waiting, I got out of the car and headed towards him.

"You haven't changed at all" I told him, he just stared at me for a moment then his eyes grew wide as he realized who I was.

"Aka--" He started off, shocked but I quickly covered his mouth with my hand.

"Don't call me that, you idiot" I told him as I removed my hand.

"What happened to you?" He asked as we were heading to the car, I got inside and he followed.

"I can't go around looking like who I was back then," I told him, "I'm supposed to be dead remember?"

"Where did you even get that body?" Ryuuji asked, "Don't tell me!"

"No I did not murder anyone" I told him, he then raised his eyebrow at me, "I didn't make anyone murder her either,"

"Then where did she come from?" He asked,

"She was an unclaimed corpse in the hospital, her family bailed on her and left her in the hospital to die" I told him, "They said they were going to throw her body somewhere, so I told them I'll buy the body and donate it to a medical school"

"That's horrible" He said, in shock with what I said. 

"I just can't sit there and let her get thrown in a ditch somewhere, at least she can get a proper burial if she pretended to be me," I told him, "But I had to erase her face in the process,"

It's only been 6 months and I'm already doing such heinous crimes, I don't know how much more I can handle this.

"Then what about your parents?" He asked me,

"I'm planning to build the most dangerous criminal organization there is," I started off, "I can't continue being Inumaki Akaza and ruin my family's name, they worked so hard to get where they are,"

"Sano Manjiro left as well" Ryuuji told me, "Everyone in Toman tried to stop him but he turned against everyone and left,"

Just like the future, huh?

"Then everything is going according to plan" I told him, 

I'll fight off Mikey's gang, I'll use all of my power to defeat Mikey, if I became the leader of the  top criminal organization in Japan, Mikey wouldn't have a place on top. Maybe then he'll go back home to everyone. 

"Are you okay with this?" He asked me, "Leaving everything behind?"

"I should be asking you that," I told him "You're about to become a criminal, this is my fight not yours"

"Who else will look after you if it isn't Mikey?" He told me, "I'll follow you to wherever you're going, I owe you my life anyways,"

We then arrived back in our hideout which was an abandoned construction site in the farthest part of Ikebukuro, if I remember correctly, in one of my visions this was where I shot Draken.

"Everyone, after 6 months, I'm here to introduce to you our vice-commander, Shirogane Ryuuji" I told my 150 men who were just chilling. They quickly got up and bowed at us.

"In just 6 months you recruited all of them?" Ryuuji said, completely amazed with the number of men I handle.

"I can't take all the credit, Hansen recruited most of the Ikebukuro Criminal Black Members, some of them were also former members of Valhalla and Tenjiku" I told him, "In the next 2 years we will conquer the whole Kanto Region!"

Everyone of my members cheered and celebrated our soon to be victory, 

"Akaza--" Ryuuji started off,

"It's Yoru," I told him, since I can't use my name anymore, I had to change names, and I decided on Yoru because it meant 'night'. I was already consumed by darkness, ever since I left all I see is darkness, there's not light just like the night sky. So that's where i got 'Yoru'.

"Yoru-san," Ryuuji said, "Doesn't roll off the tongue well" He joked.

"I know right, it's doesn't suit me at all," I told him as i let out a small chuckled. 

"I'll help you achieve your goal, no matter what" He told me as he extended his hand out for me to shake, "We're going to defeat the Invincible Mikey,"

"I'm counting on you, partner" I told him as I shook his hand, "Welcome to Ikebukuro's Dollars, Vice-President!"

"What's my first assignment?" He asked me,

"Get me Hanma Shuji" I answered.
