Chapter 111:

"Mitsuya's competition is tomorrow, huh?" I mumbled to myself as I was laying down in bed, just staring at the ceiling.

"Yoru-san, get up," Hansen said as he barged into my room with Taiju,

"What?" I hissed as I sat up from my bed to face the two.

"You've been sulking for over a week now, it's about time you get off your butt and work," Taiju said, pretty annoyed that he's doing all the work, "You don't pay me enough to take over everything, I'm not Ryuuji,"

 "I'm injured," I reasoned lamely,

"You were once on the verge of dying but you still fought, don't give me that lame shit excuse," Taiju pointed out, "Get up, if we're going to face Kanto Manji Gang, you have to train, especially with your blind eye, you're going to lose to Mikey,"

"Hanma-san said he'll train you in hand-to-hand combat, and Taiju-san will help you with your aim," Hansen said then Taiju tossed me a handgun.

"With one eye gone, your aim isn't going to be the same anymore," Taiju explained.

"I'm not going to use a gun on Mikey," I said as I tried handing him the gun again,

"You sure about that?" Taiju asked,

"Kanto Manji Gang sent you this," Hansen interrupted as he handed me a letter that was addressed to me from Mikey. "We don't know the specifics but according to the one that brought the letter here, Mikey wants to settle things,"

I opened the letter and read it, Mikey wants to settle things one on one, he even left his contact number.

He said if I don't contact him within the day, he's going to take matters into his own hands.

"One on one?" I mumbled.

I was lost, is this some sort of trap? Will Sanzu even let us meet one on one? Plus Mikey threatening me? That's new, this must be some sort of shitty trap by Sanzu.

I just brushed off the letter and got up from my bed.

The day was spent with Hanma and Taiju training me.

"You missed," Taiju pointed out as I tried to shoot the target, we were currently at our hideout's basement where our training and shooting range was.

Losing sight in one eye really fucked up my aim, and I was not pleased about it.

"That's not possible," I mumbled in shock, I never miss.

Aside from my aim, my fighting skills also declined due to my lost eyesight. I was completely vulnerable on my left side because I can no longer see anything with my peripheral vision.

I still didn't trust my executives but they really helped me improve my skills despite my disabilities.

...

The next day I woke up to an unexpected phone call. I mean, no one ever calls me except for my members, but I'm at the headquarters so who would call me?

I was tired so I didn't really bother to check the caller ID and just answered it.

"Akaza?" A familiar voice spoke through the other line,

"Mitsuya?" I was shocked to hear Mitsuya calling me, especially at 6 AM in the morning.

"Are you busy today? I need your help," He asked, "The competition starts at 10 AM, can you come to my place now?"

"I'll be right there," I said as I quickly got up from my bed,

After freshening up, I quickly headed to Mitsuya's apartment, but of course I tried to be unnoticeable to the public as I can.
