Chapter 39

Chapter 39:

I was at the cemetery paying Baji a visit. I sat down in front of his grave and told him what's been happening since he's been gone,

"Keisuke, I wish I knew what was going on with you, maybe I could have stopped you if I have noticed," I told Baji "Chifuyu told me he wants to quit Toman, I told him you wouldn't be happy if that would happen but he said he doesn't have any reason to stay"

It's sad thinking Chifuyu is lost in his own thoughts right now. I felt that when Shinichiro-kun died.

"I wish we could go back when we were kids when all we did was goof around at the dojo," I said chuckling as I reminisced the good old days. "You and Mikey used to do a lot of stupid stuff back then" 

Looking back, I spent most of my time with Shinichiro, I focused mostly on learning how to fix bikes. If I knew Baji would leave us this soon, I would have played with them more.

"I retired from Toman, the doctor said I can't get injured anymore or it could lead to something serious," I told Baji as I grabbed the incense from my bag and lit them. "I wish I could have seen you one last time before you go," I said as I placed the incense in front of his grave then prayed.

"When we were kids I used to tell Baji that I really liked you" I heard a familiar voice coming in my direction "He always told me to tell you that I like you, but I couldn't because I knew you liked Shinichiro," Mikey told me.

"Mikey," I said surprised to see him here. He stood right in front of me and pulled me into a tight hug. 

"Stay with me until the very end" Mikey said as he buried his face on the crook of my neck. I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him back.

"I will" I assured him.

Mikey was always so scared of losing me. No matter how many times I assure him I won't leave. But I can't blame him I've almost died on several occasions now, I'm scared to think what he might do if I did die.

After that very emotional moment, Mikey offered to drive me home.

After dropping me off at my place, I offered him to stay for dinner which he gladly accepted.

"I'll be taking a nap in your room," Mikey said with a cheeky smile on his face.

I knew it, he's not going to help me with dinner.

After preparing dinner and setting up the dining area I went to my room to call Mikey, who was browsing through my computer.

"Dinner's ready," I said.

"Everything about you speaks virgin," Mikey said as he was casually browsing my computer.

"What?!" I asked confused. "Who said I was a virgin?" I retorted.

"All your life you've been waiting for Shinichiro, I was your first kiss, and your browser history are all Yaoi" Mikey pointed out, I started blushing madly. What a wrong day to forget to clear my browser history. 

He got up from his seat and went to lay down on my bed. I rushed over to my computer and quickly cleared my browser history.

"Why are you snooping around my stuff!" I whined still blushing madly. I was both mad and embarrassed at the same time.

"What do you mean snooping? You left it on your history webpage" He pointed out. 

"That's not the point!" I whined.

He chuckled as he sat up from the bed, grabbed me by the waist, and pulled me in the bed so I was laying on top of him.

"You're so cute when you're mad," Mikey said, his arms were still around my waist so I couldn't get off of him. I was getting really flustered, shy, and at the same time confused. I don't know how to react, I was never this close to a guy before.

"Wait!" I said panicking. 

"What?" He asked confused. "Are you going to faint again?" He said chuckling, he's making fun of me!

Before I could say anything he closed the gap between us, his lips landed on mine. I was surprised but I did kiss back this time.

"Hey, Akaza is Mikey with you, we have our meet--" Draken said entering my room, but stopped midway through his sentence when he saw Mikey and me.

I quickly pulled away from Mikey and sat down on my bed looking at the floor, avoiding eye contact with anyone.

"You couldn't have come at the worst time," Mikey told Draken, laughing as he got up from the bed and headed outside the room. "Let's eat!"

"We have our gathering, remember?" Draken told Mikey, Mikey just laughed and went to the kitchen with Draken behind him.

"Aka-chin, let's go we still have our gathering later" Mikey yelled from the living room. I got up from my bed and slowly made my way to the door.

As I opened my bedroom door, Mikey stood in front of me and gave me another kiss, completely catching me off guard. 

"You're so cute," He said laughing.

We headed to Musashi Shrine where we are finally having our meeting about the Bloody Halloween incident. This is where we're going to announce to everyone my retirement as well.

Before I made the decision of retiring from Toman, I had a heart-to-heart talk with Ryuuji-kun about it. He said he didn't want to serve anyone but me, so he decided to move to the 2nd division, under Mitsuya.

We were waiting for the meeting to start when Takemichi arrived wearing his Toman uniform. I smiled seeing him wear it. He really did a lot for Toman and for Mikey, all eyes were on him and he deserves the recognition.

"Doesn't suit you at all!" Draken teased Takemichi.

"I know right! Totally feels like somebody dressed me up" Takemichi said with a shy laugh.

"For the first time, you actually don't look lame at all," I told Takemichi who laughed at my statement.

"So how's your head injury?" He asked.

"I'm doing really good, the doctor said nothing out of the ordinary yet," I told him, he gave me a questioning look.

"Yet?" He asked confused.

"Anyways, welcome to Tokyo Manji Gang," Draken said greeting Takemichi.

"Thank you very much!" Takemichi said bowing down sincerely to Draken. I headed up the stairs to where Mikey was.

"The meeting will start!" Draken announced. "We're here to conclude the Bloody Halloween!"

"Valhalla's 300 versus, Toman's 150, despite an overwhelming disadvantage, each of you held your own and claimed our victory!" Mikey told everyone."Hanma Shuji, vice-leader of the gang we defeated has a message for us about Valhalla"

"Valhalla never had a leader, so in the wake of our defeat we're joining under Toman's banner" Hanma announced to everyone. "Valhalla is now affiliated with Tokyo Manji Gang!"
