Some years later..."Hey, have you seen Ayuto? I've been looking everywhere for him." Hanta approached behind Mina, who was on her hands and knees to pull vegetables out of the garden. She looked up and squinted at the sun.
"No clue. Have you checked the walls? You know he likes to patrol. Or he might be hunting." She stood up and wiped dirt from her legs.
"Okay, I'll check." Hanta nodded and raised a hand to scratch at his beard. "He's around here somewhere." Mina nodded with a laugh and looked to where a small girl ran out onto the porch.
"Mama! Are we having carrots for dinner?" She bounced down the steps and Mina pointed to the basket she'd been filling.
"Yeah, but it's too heavy for you to carry. Get your brother out here to help you." The six year old nodded and gave Hanta a quick hug before running back in.
"Okay, see you later uncle Han'!" He smiled and waved before shaking his head.
"Well I better go find my son." He glanced around at the few people walking along the sidewalks and sighed. "And my husband." He mumbled as Mina nodded.
"Okay, good luck with that." She turned just as her son walked out and waved. "See you later."
"Yeah, see ya." He waved back before turning on his heel to keep looking for his family.
The apocalypse had calmed down a few years after they'd cleared and sealed off the neighborhood, and now people lived here and thrived happily. There's rarely any zombie sightings anymore. Some people had gardens that they often shared alongside the community crops, some people hunted for meat even though meat cows, chickens, and other food animals were raised on the far side of the neighborhood. Even dairy cows provided the milk needed to make butter, cheese, and any other dairy item you might need. It was like a normal community really.
Most of them had kids now. Mina, Hagekure, Shoji, and Ojiro had gotten into a sort of polyamorus relationship. They had sex with whoever they felt like and whenever, and between the four of them, they had three children. Their oldest was a boy, twelve years old, then the second was their six year old girl and then their youngest daughter, who was three. Hagekure had carried the first and the youngest, while Mina carried their middle.
Bakugo and kirishima were living their best life with their two boys, having found a nice surrogate once the neighborhood was up and running. They were seven and ten, and it's obvious which one is Bakugo's and which one is kirishima's biologically. (Not only from looks, but from the youngest's attitude as well)
Shoto and Izuku decided that they weren't the parent types, so they've been happy together being uncles with their pet chickens. (I guess that's as close to a dog as you can get, right?)
And of course, Denki and Hanta still had Ayuto, who had grown into a young man by now. The seventeen year old often disappeared for periods of time, but he always showed back up.
After a while of searching, Hanta gave up and returned to his home, where he walked in to the smell of food cooking. He walked into the kitchen and smiled, wrapping his arms around his husband's waist. "Hey there handsome. Do you happen to know where our son went?" He kissed Denki's shoulder and the blond laughed.
"Yeah, he went to Aliyah's house. I didn't get to tell you before you left." He turned to wrap his arms around Hanta and kiss his cheek. He groaned and dropped his head to Denki's shoulder.
"I hope he's using protection at least." Denki slapped his arm lightly.
"You don't even know if they're having sex." He turned back to watch the food so it didn't burn and Hanta raised a brow.
"Do you see how they flirt with eachother? I doubt they aren't having sex." He shrugged and Denki snickered.
"So what if they are? They're old enough. If he gets her pregnant, then lesson learned. And we'll be grandparents." He poked at seros side playfully and he laughed.
"I don't want to be a grandpa this young though." He muttered, kissing the back of Denki's neck as he smiled.
"I doubt we will be. He's very cautious and you know it." He turned off the stove and pulled the pan off the top as the door opened and shut. "You're home early?" Denki raised a brow as Ayuto stopped in the doorway with a nod.
"Yeah, I wasn't feeling too great, so I'm home." He shrugged and rubbed his eye tiredly as Hanta walked over, pulling him into a hug.
"Well dinner should be ready soon so you can go lay down or take a shower, okay?" He rubbed his sons back and Ayuto nodded, yawning.
"Okay. I'll be down in a bit." He gave a small wave as he turned to walk up the stairs and to his room to lay down for a while.
Once he was in bed and comfortable, a rough cough racked through his lungs and he winced, placing a hand over his chest.
To be continued...?
