Kirishima's pov

"You can't just do shit like that asshole!! What if there were walkers!? We're trying to not get eaten here-!" I placed a hand on my boyfriend's shoulder, pulling him away from Sero, who was chewing a piece of gum, and around a corner of the abandoned building.

"Calm down, Katsuki. I get it. He's being an ass, but just be the bigger man and stay calm here." He took a deep breath and nodded.

"Okay. I can do that, yeah." I smiled and pecked Katsuki's cheek before returning to where Hanta was waiting, arms crossed and face blank.

"Let's go. We have to finish this run before we can go back-"

"Hell no. Like fuck am I working with the blonde bimbo bitch any longer than I have to." I watched as my friend turned to walk out the door and glared, following him.

"Okay, I understand you're angry at the world, but you can't just take it out on everyone and yourself! Hanta, it's been months. Give it a break and stop acting like a fucking three year old throwing a tantrum!!" Taken aback by my yelling, Sero turned and we stared into each others eyes silently until I saw tears in his.

"Kirishima, the only person keeping me sane, died. He died, and I wasn't there to do anything about it! What good am I if I can't even save my own boyfriend!? Huh!? We don't even know what killed him, for fucks sake!" I could see the moment he broke, tears falling down his face in heavy streams and hands shaking as they gripped at his grey shirt.

I reached forwards to comfort him, but he jerked away from the touch, a sob coming from him as he looked down. Tears fell to his boots and I tried to hug him, only for him to turn, and run away from the building, wiping his face as he went.

"Hanta, wait!" I called put to him, but he didn't stop, running until I couldn't see him anymore. Stepping back inside, I grabbed Katsuki's arm and pulled him outside.

"Oi, what?" He tried to pull away, but I just slid my hand down and grasped his, to which he interlaced our fingers.

"Maybe He'll just go back to camp. He won't survive on his own for very long out there." I sighed and felt the grip on my hand tighten.

No such luck. As we returned to camp, Mina stood, brows furrowed.

"Where's Han'?" I stopped and frowned.

"He didn't come back here?" She shook her head and I cursed, rubbing my eyes. "Damn it. He ran off because I told him to quit acting like a toddler and calm down. I thought he might just come back to camp." Sighing, Mina shook her head as Katsuki left to find Izuku.

"We'll give him an hour or two before we send someone to look for him. As much as a bitch he's been lately, he's still my friend and I'd be mad if I let something happen to him." She returned to her seat and I sat beside her, watching the slowly darkening sky.

Once it was fully dark, and Hanta had yet to return, we sent two groups. One consisting of Hagakure, Todoroki, and Mina, while the other was Izuku, Shoji, and Ojiro. Me and Katsuki had stayed behind to watch over the camp.

As we sat on the roofs of campers, I hummed lightly, a sucker stuck between my teeth to keep some sort of sugar going through me. I can't watch over camp if I'm falling asleep.

I tightened my grip on my gun as I heard footsteps from the woods. Seeing that it was only Mina's group, I relaxed a bit and leaned my head back in the chair, sighing. Mina soon joined me and sat in front of me, leaning back into my legs.

"Nothing. Searched for miles and all we saw was one walker." I reached my hand forwards and ran it through her hair comfortingly.

"It's Okay. I'm sure he'll come back. But if he doesn't by the time we move, then we move without him." I scratched her scalp and felt her nod as we waited for the others to return.

The next morning, Sero still wasn't back. We would be moving later in the day and I was worried that he wouldn't be back in time.

As everyone began moving around each other, packing and loading everything, I sat Hagakure on top of her camper with her bow an arrow to watch.

It was only when we were about to get in and leave, a sharp whistle was heard from above us and we looked up, seeing the short brunette staring off into the trees, arrow ready, but not drawn.

I placed a hand on the pistol at my hip and looked to where she was looking. It was silent for all of five seconds before a figure stepped out.

Mina was the first to launch herself at Sero, hugging him tight and not letting go until she started yelling.

"You can't do that, you bastard! You had us all worried! We looked for you last night! What if you had been hurt? Or killed? Or- or..." She ended it with a punch to his chest. "Just don't do that!"

His arms returned around her and he hugged her close, muttering in her ear. I could see her smile and pull away, whispering something back before wiping at a cut across his cheek and placing a motherly kiss to his head, having to stand on her tip-toes to do so.

He wiped at his own face and smiled at her, seeming to be more calm than yesterday. Everyone crowded around him and he was quick to apologize.

"I'm so, so sorry. I was being childish and I know I should talk to someone instead of being angry and upset all of the time. Forgive me? Please?"

Before he could even finish his sentence, he was being swarmed with hugs and pats on the back. I was the last to get to him, wrapping him in a hug before pulling away and resting a hand on his head with a soft smile.

"It's okay. You're forgiven Hanta. Just come to any of us if you need someone to talk to. Hell, I'm sure half of us here are willing to dish out some cuddles if you get lonely too." Everyone laughed before I got quieter, face more serious. "You don't have to do this alone. We're all family and we're all here for you, Hanta. I promise."

"Thank you." With one last hug, and a few more affectionate words, we were off, heading to our next campsite.
