Kirishima's pov

Kumi has been as helpful as she can be, and everyone enjoys her company. Her and Hanta seem to have gotten closer and he trusts her more now.

It's only been a week with her, but now we make the decision of taking her with us, or leaving her alone. I think it's a pretty easy one.

"So everyone votes she comes with us?" I looked around as everyone nodded -even Hanta- and smiled. "Great. Let's pack up then shall we?"

As much as we'd love to stay in our own rooms with big beds, we've looked through every store in the town, finding any ammo, food, and water. We've cleaned the place out.

"Kirishima?" I looked back and smiled as Kumi approached, tying her ginger hair back with a hair tie.

"Yes?" I sat in a chair and pulled one over for her to sit in as well. She sat and leaned back, sighing before speaking.

"I'm not going to survive having the baby." I let my red eyes fall to her green ones, my mouth opening in confusion

"How do you know that?" I leaned my elbows on my knees and leaned forwards. Shaking her head, she shrugged.

"I just do. Hanta told me I was coming with you guys and I just wanted you to know that I won't be with you for long." Kumi pushed herself to stand and rested her hands on he back. "I don't want you to tell anyone. It's not something that can be helped but I've accepted it." I nodded dumbly and she walked towards where Hanta was grabbing bags to take out to the cars.

Eventually everything was loaded and we were huddled around a map, pointing out places we hadn't been before the newest member of our group pointed to a place not far from where we were.

"That's an underground bunker. It was made for here and neighboring towns. That's where me and my husband were headed before he left me in the store." She looked up and I nodded for her to continue. "It should be full of food, water, and different supplies."

"Okay. Then we get all we can and move on. Anyone protest going to the bunker?" It was silent and Katsuki, who had spoken, grabbed the map, folding it up and sticking it in his backpack. "Good. Let's move."

We stayed low as we navigated towards the door in the middle of a field. Turning the handle, we found it was locked and I sighed.

"How do we get in?" I looked to my boyfriend and he shook his head. Suddenly, Shoji was pushing us out of the way and kicking the door in with little effort. I stood shocked before nodding with a shrug. "Well I was gonna suggest we pick the lock, but that works too."

We filed in, going down the stairwell into the bunker. Once we arrived, we found a second door, which was unlocked. I swung it open and froze.

"Put your weapons down." A gun was right in my face and I raised my hands in surrender. It was only the guy, tattoos up his arms and his black hair greasy from lack of wash.

"Fuck you."

Dammit Katsuki.

The guy turned his gun to my boyfriend before looking behind me somewhere, face falling.

"Kumi?" I looked back to her and she had a sad look on her face. It clicked that it was her husband and apparently the others understood too. One moment his gun was pointed to Katsuki and the next it was on the floor, along with him.

"Bastard." Hagakure stood, the butt of her knife still facing the air where it had hit the man in the back of the head. "Come on, let's get stuff and go. Leave a little for him."

Everyone nodded and we left enough food for a few weeks before Kumi laughed.

"No. Leave him less. A few days worth. Leave him to starve like he did me." No one moved as we all looked at the redhead and then Hanta shrugged.

"You heard the woman. A few cans will do." Everyone nodded and left him fewer cans of food and a couple bottles of water. "One more thing." Hanta grabbed a can of dog food and laughed as he placed it right in front of the guys face for him to see when he woke up. "Serves the bitch right."

Every one laughed and we made pur way back to the vehicles, smiles on all our faces. Kumi told us that the man was her husband before taking off her ring and throwing it out of the car window.

"How many douchebags are we gonna run into today?" Todoroki groaned as we laid down our weapons, only to be seated on a couple of logs around a fire.

"Chill dude. At least they didn't point a gun at us." And Hagakure was right. They were...being nice?

"I'm Emika. This is Kali and Amaya." The three girls introduced themselves and I pointed around at my friends.

"Bakugo, Izuku, Todoroki, Mina, Shouji, Ojiro, Hagakure, Sero, and Kumi. I'm Kirishima." Everyone waved and we ended up talking for most of the night.

"So, have you heard about Sami?" The girl, Kali, spoke. I looked to Katsuki in confusion and everyone shook their heads. She smiled and leaned forwards, like she was telling a scary story.

"Apparently, they're like, the spirit of the apocalypse. Some say they're a boy, some say they're a girl, but no one truly knows their identity. All anyone knows is that they save lives. If you're in trouble, they come to your rescue with a sword sharper than a hounds sense of smell." She leaned back. "Some people claim they know them, but never describe them in detail."

I assumed I had the same look as everyone else, baffled and concerned. Silently, we all made a mutual agreement to get up, and leave.

"Well it was nice meeting You girls, but I think it's time we get a move on." They let us go and as soon as we were on the road, laughter burst from the back of the camper.

"Oh my God! What was she crazy!? 'Spirit of the apocalypse' what a dumbass!" Hanta's contagious laughter soon spread and everyone in the camper was laughing.

"It's the apocalypse man. Some people are bound to be a little crazy." Katsuki smiled as he spoke and looked out the window.

But sometimes, people aren't as crazy as they seem.
