Denki's pov

"Denki, what the hell?"

"I'm f-" I almost got my sentence out before I started coughing and hacking again. I felt like my lungs were being scraped by knives and my throat being stabbed by needles.

"Hey, Denks...calm down. Just breath." I was vaguely aware of a hand on my back, guiding me to sit on the bed. I barely got a breath in before the coughing started back up.

Hanta found a water bottle and handed it to me, allowing me to take a sip. I took a few deep breaths as the coughing ceased and I cringed.

"Fuck...what the hell is this..?" An arm was wrapped around my waist and I leaned into Hanta's side.

"Feel better?" I nodded, keeping quiet in fear that if I spoke, I'd have to deal with the pain of my lungs being ripped out of my chest without it actually happening.

"Okay. Let's lay down, yeah?" I nodded and sat up, fixing my pillows and laying down on them as I curled up under my blankets. He followed suit and crawled under his own blankets, reaching and turning the lamp off.

"Wake me up if you need anything..okay?" I nodded and closed my eyes, slowly falling asleep as I hoped to get a full nights sleep.

And those dreams were short lived.

I was woken up as I struggled for breath, coughing until my throat hurt and sitting up in bed as the lamp flickered on.

"Denki!?" I held my chest and tried to get a deep breath in. I eventually succeeded and quickly grabbed the water bottle on my side table. Hanta squatted down in front of me as I drank from the bottle. I heaved for breath and looked at him as I shivered slightly.

"Oh, Denki..." He rested his hand on my forehead and frowned. "You're warm. I think you have a fever." I sighed and hung my head.

"Why am I getting worse this quickly?" My voice was scratchy and starting to give out.

"I don't know, Denks.. I don't know." He grabbed my hand and I smiled lightly before frowning.

"H-Hanta....?"

"Yes?"

"W-what if...what if this kills me? What would happen..?" His eyes shot wide and his voice got wobbly.

"Don't say that. You're not going to die. I won't fuckin allow it." I sighed and leaned back on my pillows.

"This sucks..."

"I know, Denki. It'll be okay in the end..it will. I know it."

"You're only trying to convince yourself, aren't you?" He nodded slowly and sighed.

"Yeah...pretty much."smiling sadly, I took his hand and interlaced our fingers and looked him in the eyes.

"Hey...I wanna tell you something before I can't. Wether it be I lose my voice or wether I'm not here anymore." He furrowed his brows and nodded.

"Okay. Go ahead."

"I-...gosh you probably already know...I love you. I do, and I can't just not tell you Hanta...I can't do it.." I sniffled and wiped my eyes as tears started falling. He looked at the ground and furrowed his brows.

"Are you sure it's not just a little crush?" I thought for a moment.

"Scientifically a crush last only four months. If it lasts longer than that, you're in love.." He snorted and looked up at me as we smiled.

"Who are you? Spencer Reid?" I started to laugh but got cut off with a cough.

"Maybe..I don't know." Hanta brought his hand up to rub at my cheek.

"I must be in love then." I blushed and smiled.

"Me too..." He kissed my knuckles and sat up further on his knees, leaning over my face.

"That means I can do this?" Nodding quickly I smiled.

"Yeah...definitely." He licked his lips slightly and leaned closer, still looking me in the eyes as I squeezed his hand. He smiled, squeezing my hand in return as he leaned down, and for the the first time, our lips met in a kiss.

One that we would share forever.

Todoroki's pov

"So...Shoto, right?" I looked over and smirked at Izuku.

"Yes. I'm Shoto. We introduced ourselves last night I thought?" His face went a little red and he started stuttering.

"Well-...y-yes we did, I-I just kinda-....uhm...I wanna make sure I get your name right and-"

"Hey. You're mumbling. You do that often?"

"Uhm, Yeah. Sorry about that." I flashed a grin at him before grabbing my bag and weapons.

"Nah. Don't apologize. It's kinda cute." I winked and swung the door of the camper open. "Join us!" I chuckled as he scrambled to grab his things and I let the door swing shut behind me.

"Alright! We're inside the walls, but we still need to get the gates working. Shoto, you'll come with us and help with those. The rest of you, work on clearing one section of the building." My jaw was set as I listened and nodded as I was addressed by Kirishima.

"And uh- what am I doing?" Everyone looked at Kaminari and Kiri sighed.

"You stay. Hagakure will stay with you." He sighed defeatedly and hung his head.

"Alright."

"Okay! We ready!?"

"Yeah!" We all yelled in excitement before jogging towards the main entrance of the building, some of of taking out zombies that were in the courtyard.

As we entered the building I handed Izuku a whistle. "You need anything," I tooted the whistle after hooking it around his neck, "Just blow on this." I smirked playfully and laughed as he glared and snatched it off, placing it in his pocket.

"Fuck you, Shoto." I walked backwards as I talked.

"Maybe later, Baby. We're busy at the moment." I clicked my tongue and winked before jogging off to catch up with Kirishima and Bakugo. I heard him grumble as he went the opposite direction with the others.

"You're terrible, Todoroki." Kirishima snorted and peeked in a room before continuing.

"Nah...I'm amazing and he knows it." I saw a staircase and ran up, getting a good view of everything from a second story balcony.

"Where's it gonna be!?"

"Most likely in one of the main offices. Come here before you fall and die or something!" I groaned and slid down the railing, landing in front of them. "Okay, Mom." He sighed and kept walking.

"Come on." I laughed and ran ahead of them, hopping over desks and chairs in the main lobby.

"Dude! You guys went to school here?"

"Yes, Shoto. We did."

"Damn. And you had dorms?" I scoffed and stood on a desk. "Look at me, I'm all high and mighty because I go to a rich school." Kiri raised a brow and crossed his arms as Bakugo laughed.

"Sometimes I wonder if you're actually an adult."

"Aw c'mon. You know I didn't have a childhood. Let me live a little." I laughed and hopped down, holding a baseball bat over my shoulders as I walked ahead and heard Kiri chuckle.
