I got out of the car after just sitting, thinking for a while. I didn't even want to think about it anymore. I was just so mad at myself for being so stupid. I walked in and smiled at Bea, I didn't want her to worry or think that she had to look after me anymore. I headed to training, I knew today would be a challenege, but I was done ruining my dreams because of boys. I walked straight up to Gareth to tell him my answer to his offer of a a job promotion.

"Hi Gareth."

"Y/n, have you thought about the offer yet?"

"Yes and I have decided that I would love to take the job."

"Brilliant, then you start today. We have a trainers meeting next Friday which you have to come to. It's in my office, other than that, just continue to do what you have been for the past few days. Because you are the boys' official trainer now, you will start to make up your own plans for them. If you need any help then talk to me and I will be happy to help." He was stuck with a smile on his face the whole time. I liked Gareth, he was such a kind person. We had a good friendship.

I walked over to the boys to see them already stretching. I saw Phil and immediately began tearing up. But I knew, I was strong and I had to keep it all in, I wasn't about to show everyone my emotions. I took a deep breath and withing seconds, my tears dried up. I had always been used to keeping my emotions in, that's why I was never properly over mum, I hadn't greived her death as I was too busy making sure my dad was okay. I had never really greived my dad kicking me out of the house either. I preffered to keep it all in. Keeping it all in did tend to destroy me, it put me down a lot and I was never truly happy because of it. That didn't matter though. All that mattered was that I was surviving.

After about ten minutes of preparing myself for the session after waiting for the boys to warm up, I called them all in and began telling them all what we were doing today. "Right boys, Gareth wants you all to improve your stamina a bit so today, we are preparing for tomorrow and we are going to be doing quite a lot of moving around. Make sure you all have water because you are going to need it." They all looked at me, I could tell they all hated anything related to cardio, I on the other hand loved it. "So, first of all, you are all going to run around the pitch once and then we are going to see who can do the most burpees. We will go from there, depending on how tired you all are, we will do more or less." The boys all looked at each other thinking that if they all looked less tired then they wouldn't have to do as much work.

They all set off running around the pitch and then once they were all done they did some burpees and saw who could do the most. The final two were Rice and Sancho. The boys were all making bets and I just watched, I wasn't interested in talking much today. After this morning, I just wanted to go home and sleep. Sancho ended up winning with the most burpees. I gave them all a five minute water break because they all looked quite tired.

"Right, breaks up, I want you all to do squat jumps for two minutes and then do mountian climbers for a minute, then starjumps for five minutes." I looked at them all faking my smile whilst speaking to them all in the most optimistic voice that I could. They were all moaning and I couldn't be bothered arguing with any of them today so I just went and sat on the grass watching as they all began excersizing and telling them all when time was up to move onto something else. They had all finished up and I gave them a two minute break this time. "Right, so now you are all going to run up and down the stairs for ten minute, don't fall over and pace yourselves." They all set off still moaning and as I watched I felt tears come to my eyes again. I quickly made sure that they dissapeared so that nocody could see how much I was hurting.

My phone recieved a notification in the boys last five minutes of running the steps. I opened it to see that it was from Jonah's nanny. I read it as quickly as I could because I knew something was up. She told me she would only text me if it was an emergency.

NANNYS MESSAGE- 'Hello Miss y/l/n [your last name], I thought you would want to know that Jonah's mother just turned up at the house. She opened the door and yelled that your father was better, she then walked towards me and told me that she was taking Jonah back to his real home. I asked her for proof that she was his mother and she provided me with it. I let her take Jonah after packing up his things. I presume that since he has gone home you won't need me to nanny anymore so you can just send me the payment for today's work and then leave out the rest of the week. He has gone back home now and I have made sure that I cleaned all of his messes. Have a lovely day Miss y/l/n.'

I realised that my eyes had teared up again, if today wasn't already bad enough and now I am being told that my brother had been taken home? I didn't even get to say goodbye, I never got to give him a hug or a kiss on the cheek, I didn't get to tell him that I love him. I didn't get to say good-bye. I never got to say good-bye - not to mum, not to dad, and now not to Jonah. I kept it all inside as I always had and watched my timer go off. I sorted myself out making sure that I didn't look a mess. Walking up to the boys, I shouted over to them, "Lads, times up, you can have a five minute break and then Gareth wants you to go into a match again." They all sighed and fell onto the floor. I realised that I had to message the nanny back still, so decided to do it now.

MY MESSAGE- 'Hi, yep that's completely fine, I will pay you by PayPal as soon as. You have a good day too, thank you for all of your work, it has been lovely and a huge help x.'

Gareth called all of the boys back in and asked me if I could stay to watch the training matches now that I was an official trainier. He said that it would help me figure out what the boys needed to work on in training the next day and that it would teach me more about football in general. Eventhough I just wanted to go home and sleep, I stayed and watched them play, after the end of the match Gareth called them in to us and told the boys that they still had to work on their stamina and control of the ball. Tomorrow I knew what I wanted to do with the boys but had to check with Gareth that it would be okay.

ANOTHER Y/N BACKSTORY

Y/n had followed in her mother's footsteps as a child and since she was five years old, had done track. She loved to run as it always reminded her of her mother and made her feel close to her even when she wasn't there. She was one of the fastest runners of her age in the whole world as a child and still was extraudinarily quick. She had wanted to take it up as a career. However, when she was forced out of her house by her father and step mother, she had to get a job as soon as possible to pay for her house and food. Running didn't ensure that she would get a job with good pay any time soon. Eventhough it was her passion and she always loved it, she had to give it up because of her family.

END OF Y/N BACKSTORY

I went to find Gareth to ask him if I could do what I had planned to do with the boys tomorrow.

"Hiya Gareth, tomorrow I was wondering if I could take my group of boys to the track on the other side of the centre and make them do some running. They have been working really hard at the moment in training and I feel like it will improve their stamina whilst they get to have a bit of fun competition with each other. So, do you think I could do that with them?" I was trying my best to persuade Gareth, clearly.

"Of course y/n, if you think it will improve their performance on the pitch then feel free to do whatever you would like to do with them, just make sure you check in with me first. This is why I'm so glad you are one of our trainers, you bring a new perspective in. I'm glad you are training our boys." He walked off after saying goodbye and I was so happy that I could do what I wanted to do with the boys tomorrow.

I wanted to take the boys to the track to show them that I could do things by myself, I had felt lately like they undermined me a little. I also wanted to go as I knew everything about track that there was to know so I thought it would be a quite easy session. I really couldn't be bothered trying to figure out a load of drills to do with them tonight, especially after all that had gone wrong today, I couldn't be bothered just making even more things go wrong.
