In front of my eyes lay a beautiful patch of grassland covered by trees. Overtop of the grass, twinkle light hung, illuminating the sky and adding to the beauty. The picturesque landscape was covered in roses and lillys and peonys. It was stunning. In the centre of the grass, a table for two stood, stood beside the table was my boy. Phil Foden. He stood in a black suit and walked towards me a little to greet me. He came up to me and game me a small hug and a kiss on the forehead before looking over to mason.
"Thanks bro, see you later."
"No problem mate, see you."
Mason walked in the other direction. Once he was out of sight, Phil grabbed my hand from beside me and pulled it towards his face. He kissed the back of my hand and then led me over to the table. I watched as he pulled out my chair for me and I sat down, pulling it under the table a little. Phil sat at the other side of the table and then stared at me for a little. His eyes moved up and down the parts of my body that were above the table and I could tell he was looking at me.
"What?", I asked, giggling.
He grinned before speaking, "Nice dress."
"Thank you, I made sure to put it on your card as you asked."
" I know, I saw."
"Well thank you, it was kind of you to give me the dress but honestly, I can buy my own things."
"To be honest, I'm not satisfied. I'm going to have to buy you shoes and a bag."
"What? I bought the dress as you asked?"
"Princess, the dress was £500. Darling, I want you to buy a dress for £5000.", he said, exaggerating the 'thousand'.
"Well we both knew I wasn't going to spend all that."
"Yeah we did, that's why I planned a shopping trip next week.", he laughed, knowing that that had annoyed me a little.
"Fucks sake, course you have.", I grinned at him a little, admiring all his perfect features.
"Glad to know that I can annoy you so easy princess."
"I'm sure you will make it up to me."
"How can I do that?"
"I think you know.", I winked at him and grinned.
He saw and grinned back at me, "Yeah, I could guess."
"Bet you could.", I mumbled whilst picking up my champagne glass and taking a sip of it.
We ate starters and the main course and out came dessert for us. It was a coffee sponge cake, I am allergic to coffee so decided not to eat it, I didn't fancy ending up all swollen and red.
Phil must have noticed me not eating the dessert, "What's wrong princess?"
"Hmm, nothing."
"Then how comes you aren't eating your dessert?"
"Oh, I'm allergic to coffee."
"What?"
"Yeah, something in the coffee beans."
"I'm so sorry, I should've checked with you first."
I giggled a little, "Honestly don't worry, I don't mind."
"Still.", He looked annoyed at himself.
"Hey, I mean it, don't worry about it. I'm full anyways so it's no problem."
"You sure? I can get you something from a restaurant around the corner?"
"Phil, I'm fine.", I leaned towards him and smiled, letting him know that I wasn't bothered about the situation.
"You know that I'm not asking this to be rude or anything. I just want you to be okay, but...Are you doing the no eating thing again? I want you to know I can help you."
"No, I'm seriously all good. I'm allergic to coffee beans and I'm not really that hungry. The meal was still amazing though, thank you."
"No worries darling.", he said with his huge, bright smile.
Phil finished his food and not long after, stood up.
He walked over to my chair and reached out for my hand, "Come with me please m'lady."
"Where are we going, your highness?"
"You will find out eventually Miss Y/l/n."
"Okay Mr Foden, sounds good."
I walked with my hand in Phil's as he guided me a few minutes away from the place we ate to a small beach. We walked along the shore a little before arriving at an archway. It was made out of greenery and wood, which was painted white. We walked under the archway and on the other side were lanterns placed around in a circle and bunches of flowers. Within the circle we're some people, within closer investigation, I realised that the people in the lantern circle were: Bea, Jack, Mason, Declan, Saka, Sancho and Walker. I wondered what they were all doing here, on my and Phil's date. Was this some sort of weird initiation or something.

They best not be tryna get me into some weird ass cult. I ain't about that shit.

Phil continued guiding me into the centre of the circle and then stood a few centimetres away from me so that we were facing each other. He let go of my hand and mouthed 'relax' as he could clearly tell I was a little shaken up about what was going on. I nodded at him and took a deep breath out before staring into his deep blue eyes. I could get lost in them eyes. His eyes made me feel so innocent with the ocean blue in them, yet at the same time like all I wanted to do was rip his clothes off of him and snog his stunning face off.
Just as I was begging to daydream about him, he began speaking and broke my stare with him, "y/n, ever since we met we have had a rocky journey. I remember us starting of hating each other and not wanting to know a single thing about each other. And now here we are, going on a date together, smiling together, holding hands. Kinda cringe but I think you get my point. Long story short, I think it's safe to say that we both fancy the fuck out of each other. I hope so or I will look like a right stuck up twat right now.", I laughed at his joke before looking back up to him again. "I think that you are really gorgeous and you are so funny, I have never met anyone like you. You deserve the world but, your stuck with me instead of the world so I hope you are alright with that. I was wondering if maybe you would want to be my girlfriend?", his bright smile shone brighter than any star in the sky that night.
"Philip Foden, never give me a cringey speech again. But yes, yes I will be your girlfriend.", I laughed before giving him a huge hug and he squeezed me. I pulled out of the hug and looked at him for a second, I wanted to get lost in his eyes again but I had no chance as he was already pulling me into a kiss. Our friends around us cheered and came up to congratulate us and I think that in that moment, all of my worries and fears and overthinking just disappeared. For a single second, I felt free, safe, happy. That's how I knew- Phil Foden was the one man who could make me happy to the point of zoning out on all of my past and present and future. He was the man that I needed, and when he said that I would have to settle for him instead of the world he was wrong, I wouldn't be settling. If anything, I would be punching above my weight. Because that man right there, he was my whole universe, not just one planet, not just all of the planets, but all the planets and space and sun and the moon. He was better than existence itself.
The issue with that is, sometimes loving someone that much can tear you apart when you have to leave them. Because I'm the end, everyone leaves. Either that or you have to leave. The point is...
Nothing is forever.
