One day until the party

I opened my eyes looking around my room, forgetting all of last nights events "Morning" a husky, groggy voice said.

"Morning" I said turning to face him.

My face shot red as I hadn't expected him to be this close.

But The atmosphere felt better when his face did the same. I buried my head in the small space of pillow between us laughing slightly.

He giggled too before I looked into his emerald green eyes again.

"Sorry, I ugh, I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable.." he trailed on. I don't know where he got the idea that I was uncomfortable because that was that would've had to a be top tier sleep..

"Why are you apologising?, I'm very much comfortable.." Our noses were practically touching and I could feel his breath intoxicating me. "Mind if I use your shower?" He said ruining the moment.

"Sure" I motioned to the bathroom connected to my room, he left to get his clothes and shortly after I heard the door lock.

I could hear him singing slightly over the sound of the water running.

I reached for my phone but mistakenly grabbed his to check the time.

My eyes scanned over the multiple messages from 'Samantha <3'

I thought he said he was done with her?. Have I been stupid enough to think he would want a relationship with me??.

I began to question things but I concluded as to asking him about it later cant jump to conclusions.

"Breakfast?" Alex asked "We we're gonna stop at the new breakfast place down the street if you guys are down?" Clay said "Yeah I'm down" Karl got up to put his black converse on.

"Race you Karl?" Nick suggested smirking at the skateboards they both brought.

"Loser pays for the other?" Karl grinned and Nick nodded.

Both of the boys were rushing out of the house as the rest of us grabbed our jackets. I brought an Extra for Nick as Alex did Karl, because the wether wasn't the best today but if walking was spending more time together then so be it.

Hand in hand with Alex he was telling me a story about what him and his friends in Mexico did to one of their teachers one year. "Omg, your Quackity and Georgenotfound" a girl Squealed which alerted me and Clay.

I let go of his hand and let them walk "Do you think she knows?" I asked him slightly worried "Nah she's too caught up in them to realise" Clay snickered.

He wasn't wrong.

We finally made it to the small cafe like place. Nick and Karl had already got there and claimed a booth.

I slide in sitting beside George and Nick "so who won?" The grin on Karls face told me enough as he began to mock Nick. " if I hadn't of tripped I would've won" he grumbled.
