Chapter Four

Maya

I walked back into the house after my morning run. I stripped my t-shirt off, leaving myself in my sports bra and shorts.
I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a water bottle out of the fridge.
"I'm sorry. I'll come back later." Carina said as she walked into the kitchen and started to backtrack.
"Nah, you're good. I needed to let you know I'll be leaving early anyway." I walked past her and up the stairs.
"How early?"
"Tomorrow morning."
"Awesome."

I shut my bedroom door and grabbed a change of clothes and went to the bathroom to take a shower.
As I was showering I heard the door open and close.
"Your money is laying on your bed." I heard Carina say.
"What? What money?"
"The refund for the days you aren't staying."
"I don't want it. Just keep it." I rolled my eyes.
"I'm not keeping your money. Just shut up and stop being a stubborn ass.

I ripped open the curtain and covered my body with a towel.
"Really? I'm the stubborn ass? You're the one acting like a God damn child because I accidentally said something." I snapped.
"Really? You want to go there? You're the one who said you loved me and didn't mean it!" Carina smacked her hands on her thighs.
"I never said I didn't mean it! I said I didn't mean to fucking say it!" I stepped out of the shower, gripping my towel even tighter.

"Oh, fuck you Maya!"
"Fuck you Carina!"

We stared at each other for a few seconds, and then Carina crashed her lips against mine. We both fought for dominance as the towel dropped and gathered around my feet as I shoved her against the wall.
I grabbed her hair and yanked it back, attaching my mouth to her neck and leaving marks.
"Fuck you." Carina growled.
"Shut up."

I picked her up and Carina wrapped her legs around my waist as I bunched up the dress she was wearing.

"Oh mio Dio." Carina groaned as I roughly slammed two fingers inside her.
"You like that don't you? Getting fucked like this?" I growled in her ear as I kept a tight grip on her, holding her up against the door.
"Fuck! Maya!" I could feel her walls getting tighter.
"Cum for me, Carina."

She quickly came undone in my hands, burying her face in my neck.

I set her down gently and leaned my forehead against hers. We stood in silence for a few moments, both of us breathing hard.
"Carina, I love you. But I don't deserve you. I can't give you what you deserve. I live thousands of miles away."
"Maya I l-"
"Don't. Please don't say it. I know. Just... I know." I closed my eyes and fought the tears forming in my eyes.

I gently moved Carina from the door, picked up my discarded towel, and walked out of the bathroom.

"Welcome home Bishop!" Andy exclaimed as she hugged me in the airport.
I hugged her and started bawling into her shoulder.
"Mija? What's wrong?" She rubbed my back.
"I-I shouldn't ha-have left her. I m-miss her." I sobbed out.
"Oh honey. I know."
"I love her Andy. I know I shouldn't say it, but I love her." I pulled back and wiped my face.
"I know. Come on mija, let's go home." She wrapped her arm around my shoulder and led me out of the airport.

*One month later*

"Gibson! If you're not going to listen to what the fuck I'm saying then you can go home!" I shouted.
"I'm doing exactly what you asked!" Jack argued.
"You need to fix that attitude you have. I am your captain, and wether you like it or not you will respect me."
"Maybe you need to go get laid so you won't be such a bitch." He spat.

The whole station stopped what they were doing and stared at us. Jack had a look of fear in his eyes, he knew he fucked up.
"Go home Gibson."
"What? No."
"You can go home for the day, or go home permanently. You have five seconds to decide."
