Carina
"Perhaps Harry had eaten a bit too much, because he had a very strange dream. He was wearing Professor Quirrell's turban, which kept talking to him, telling him he must transfer to Slytherin at once, because it was his destiny.
Harry told the turban he didn't want to be in Slytherin; it got heavier and heavier; he tried to pull it off but it tightened painfully — and there was Malfoy, laughing at him as he struggled with it -then Malfoy turned into the hook-nosed teacher, Snape, whose laugh became high and cold — there was a burst of green light and Harry woke, sweating and shaking.
He rolled over and fell asleep again, and when he woke next day, he didn't remember the dream at all."
"One more chapter? Please Mommy?" Caterina whined as Maya closed the book.
"You know the deal baby girl. One chapter a night. Plus, it's bedtime." Maya ruffled Caterina's hair.
"Will you still read to me when the babies are here?"
"Of course, love. We'll all cuddle up in bed, and read before bedtime."
"Okay mommy. Goodnight." Caterina said as crawled out of bed.
"Can I have a goodnight kiss?" I asked.
"No thank you. I don't feel like giving kisses right now." Caterina shook her head.
"That's okay bambina. Thank you for telling me. Can I blow you a kiss?"
Caterina thought about it for a second, and shook her head yes.
Maya and I both blew her kisses and she caught them as she walked out of our bedroom.
"I don't like how quick she's growing up. She doesn't even want us to tuck her into bed anymore." Maya sighed as she cuddled up to me.
"Our big girl. She'll be eight next week."
"God, I can't believe we've had her for almost a year. Are we still doing a 'Luca' theme birthday?"
"Sì. She wants to dress up as Giulia for her party. I ordered her outfit yesterday, it'll be here tomorrow."
"You're so on top of things. You're the best Mamma ever." Maya leaned forward and kissed my cheek.
"I try bambina. I just hope we can handle four kids." I rubbed my belly nervously.
"We'll be fine. We'll always be fine as long as we have each other." Maya was interrupted by her phone ringing.
"It's Danielle." She showed her phone to me and answered it.
"Hey Danielle."
She paused for a moment, listening to what the realtor was saying.
"Seriously? Are you for real?"
"What, bambina? What?"
"Thank you so much. I'll tell her right now. Have a great night." Maya hung up the phone and smiled at me.
"We got it."
"Wait, we got the house?" I gasped.
"Yes! We got it!" Maya hopped up on the bed and jumped up and down.
"Oh my God!" I exclaimed as she fell down next to me.
"We did it baby." Maya pressed a long kiss to my lips.
"When do we move in? Oh my God we have to sell the house and-"
"I wanted to talk to you about that. Mason and his girlfriend said they'd rent from us. Mason can afford it by himself if anything happens between them."
"Only if we get to meet his girlfriend. Oh my God we have to tell him about the babies!"
"I'll invite them over for dinner tomorrow. He's gonna be so excited."
Maya
"Baby! Can you get the door please?" I shouted from the kitchen. The smell of the chicken cooking was making Carina nauseous, so I had taken over.
"Hi! Come in!"
"It's so good to see you Carina. Carina, this is Ziva David, my girlfriend. Ziva, this is Carina, my sister-in-law."
"Don't forget about me!" I laughed.
"Ziva, this is my big sister Maya." Mason introduced as they walked into the kitchen.
"Hi! It's so nice to meet you." I walked over and hugged my brother's girlfriend.
"You as well." She said.
"Uncle Mason!" Cat ran into the kitchen and into Mason's arms.
"Hi Cat! Cat, this is my girlfriend Ziva. Ziva, this is my niece, Caterina."
"You're pretty." Cat told Ziva.
"You are as well. I like your shirt." Ziva smiled at her.
"My mommies got it for me! They said I should wear it while Uncle Mason is here." She wiggled down and showed off her 'Big Sister' shirt.
"Oh my God, seriously? It worked?" Mason looked between the two of us.
"Yes! I'm seven weeks today." Carina smiled.
"Congratulations. I'm so happy for you both." Mason hugged Carina, then hugged me.
"And this is for you." I handed him a copy of the ultrasound.
"Look at my niece or nephew." He handed Ziva the ultrasound with a proud smile on his face.
Ziva gasped and held the ultrasound closer to her face.
"Babe?" Mason asked.
"Mason, look at the ultrasound again." I chuckled.
Mason moved to look at the picture in Ziva's hands.
"Baby A, B, and C? Triplets?" His eyes grew big as he stared at us.
"Sì!" Carina laughed.
"Holy shit. They said it might not work, that's why they used so many eggs."
"Well, it was easier than we thought." I smiled as I hugged my wife from behind. "That's why I told you we were moving."
"I thought you just wanted a new house!" Mason laughed.
