Growing up I witnessed how my father love my mom, the respect that they gave each other, the trust and loyalty. I also dream to have that with my mate.

My mom always told stories about mates, how the bond works, and the importance of waiting for my mate.

A love that supports and trusts each other. A love that understands and accepts our flaws. A love that is not perfect but still strong.

The day I met my mate I promised one thing to myself. She is the priority.

Her needs, wants safety, security, and happiness.

She will come first in everything.

That day at the restaurant I never expected to meet her since I was only there because of Marcus my beta. I'm thankful for that fucker.

Earlier

"Leo, can you stop over to the next restaurant," he said while not taking his eyes off his cell phone "I'm starving we've been driving for almost two hours."

"Again?!" the frown on Leo's face is visible and I can't blame him since we just had burgers two hours ago. " You just had McDonald's! Ano ba yang tiyan mo? Gilingan?"

"Exactly! Two hours ago, dude! It's been two hours" Marcus said while dramatically waving his hands as he was making a point.

" It's not my fault I have a fast metabolism!"

" We all have fast metabolism genius! Did you forget we are werewolves?" Leo replies with full sarcasm in his tone.

"Stop it." I decided to interrupt them since these two will start bickering until tomorrow. "Leo, pull over there" I saw a fast-food restaurant ahead, so we decided to stop over to eat since honestly, I'm also starving.

The moment I step out of the car I feel my wolf pacing and growling in my head. "Storm what is it? Rouges?" I ask him but I don't think he gives a shit about me right now. Confused since I don't feel any threat.

The closer we are to the restaurant the more he gets aggressive pacing, howling, and growling to who knows what.

"Alpha, you, okay?" Marcus tapped my shoulder since I didn't realize that I stop walking. " Yeah, it's just Storm seems extremely excited about something." Nodding my head towards the restaurant "Let's just go eat, I want to go home and have a good rest."

The restaurant is similar to other fast food you visit, the table, chairs and it's already busy even if it is just eight in the morning. "Let's go sit by the window, I want to see some beautiful views." We exactly know what Marcus means by that since some of the passersby stop at the window and stare inside the restaurant. Leo just shakes his head as if he knows what I was thinking.

"Good morning gentlemen, Welcome to Seasons what are your orders for today" When I hear that voice, I already knew why my wolf seems to be excited. As if the boys realized what happening they all look at me for confirmation and I nod at them.

Since I was still in shock Marcus stepped in and told her our orders while I was controlling myself from reaching for her and just kiss her senselessly.

"We want a double burger patty one without pickles fries on the side with coke please" Marcus ordered then look at me while shaking his head no. I know he has good intentions for it, but my wolf can't understand it. For fuck's sake that's our mate, our mate that we waited for six years.
