SUPRISE VISITORS

HIS POV

Spending my day with my mate is amazing. Now, I understand why Papa is always a baby when he has to go to work. This kind of life is addicting. The warmth I've felt when I am with her like I don't want to stay away from her.

I can't seem to get enough of her, her laugh, the way she talks, and her eyes light up when she's amazed. Everything about her makes me and my wolf crazy. 

"I can't imagine a life without her now."  said my wolf.

"Same, buddy. Same."

As I am watching my mate getting too engrossed in the movie. I let my eyes wander to her face. A brown doe eye that melted my cold heart, a button nose that was so cute and I'd been stopping myself from bopping it, her cheeks the reason I had developed a new hobby, and that is pinching it. Lastly, her red heart-shaped lips, the ones I've dreamed of kissing. Damn it! I need to calm down.

"Darling, I just need to go to the bathroom quick. Is that okay with you?" I whispered to her since I don't want to scare her more.  I need to calm myself down before I kiss her senseless and I don't want to risk the little development that we had today.

She quickly holds my arms stopping me from walking farther, she looks up to me and said "Sama ako pwede?"

"Are you sure, Darling?" I playfully smile at her. Damn. Pupunta nga ako ng c.r para kumalma eh. Tapos sasama pa siya? Fuck! Moon goddess give me strength from this temptation.

"Heh! Di pwedeng biro lang! Patola ka din eh!" Nangunot ang noo ko dahil hindi naintindihan kung pa'no nasali sa usapan namin ang gulay na 'yon.

"Patola? Kelan pa ako naging patola babe?" naguguluhan kong tanong sakanya pero mukhang pinagtrtripan na naman ako.

"Basta! Mag-c.r ka na lang." binitawan niya ang braso ko at marahan akong tinulak.

"Fine. The bathroom is just right there Darling; you can pause the movie while waiting for me. Hmm?" she slowly nodded her head and sat down again. Damn, that movie for scaring my little Darling. I'll make sure to never let her watch that again.

I immediately when to the bathroom without even looking I know that my darling mate is now munching some candies. Without a doubt, my love has a sweet tooth. In the bathroom, I look into my reflection. Something changes. My eyes which used to be lifeless and cold turn into warm and alive. My cheeks is hurting from smiling for so long. Fuck! Is this the result of having a mate? I can't recognize myself anymore. I become another person when I am with her.

"You're a lucky bastard," I said to myself.

"Aaaahhh!

The moment I hear that scream I almost broke the door just to get to my mate's side, I feel something I never feel ever since I was a kid. Fear. There are so many scenarios coming to my mind when I hear that scream.

'Did a rogue break through my home? Did she see some of the pack members? Is she hurt?'

My wolf and I are already in a panic state I never thought of a plan I just think to be near my mate and kill whatever it is that scared her. My canines are slowly coming out and my eyes were turning black indicating that my wolf was on the surface, but I still have control.

When I get there, my eyes scan the area and found my two best friends with shocked expressions. Slowly, my eyes turning back to grey, and my canines are going back to their normal size. I scan the room again and found my little mate behind the couch hiding from the surprise visitors.
