"Jaden, could you please grab Thea?" I yell, putting on my earrings. Jaden was nominated for his first award at the American Music Awards and it's tonight. Thea is our 1 year old daughter, the light of my world but since she's too young she can't come with us. And, let's not forget that the public doesn't even know he has a daughter or a wife.

His management said letting the world know would be bad for sales and his image, so nobody knows. I mean, they know he has a significant other but they think I'm his girlfriend. Jaden walks in with Thea, her beautiful brown skin glowing in the light of our room.

She raises her head when she sees me making grabby hands at me, "mama."

"Oh wow, what am I? Your personal nanny?" Jaden scoffs as he hands our daughter to me. "Hey, TT" I coo, she smiles, reaching to pull my freshly done braids. I wince, pushing her hand away and Jaden notices, "Thea, no pulling mommy's hair."

"That's for me to do" he remarks slyly, my jaw drops "JADEN!" he shrugs, grinning "it's not like she understood what I just said" I shake my head, turning back to Thea. "Dada..." she utters, reaching for Jaden. "Oh, now you call me?" he walks back to me, kissing Thea's forehead and walking out the room when he hears someone call his name.

"Babe, we have to go now, your mom's here" he calls from the staircase. I pout looking at Thea who copies my actions, "mommy has to go with daddy now, love" the pout stays on her lips as if she understands what I'm saying to her.

Jaden walks back in, this time to carry Thea. "Okay, TT, mommy and daddy have to go. Wanna know why?" he talks to her as she looks up at him, clueless but he continues anyway. "Daddy may win his first award today, yayy" I laugh, watching his actions through the mirror in front of me.

My eyes land on the one accessory I was looking for, the one I'm meant to wear for the rest of my life, my wedding ring.

I pick it up, staring at the 4 carat diamond ring, watching the way it shines when the light hits it. Jaden's management told me I couldn't wear my ring and he couldn't wear his, out of fear that people would find out about our marriage.

It's been so hard to pull off my wedding ring every time I have to leave the house. "Wear it" Jaden's voice snaps me out of my thoughts, I look up, catching his eyes through the mirror. He walks closer to me, holding Thea that seems to have fallen asleep on his shoulder. "Wear your ring, y/n" he repeats, I open my mouth to protest but he cuts me off "I know what management said, wear the ring."

Slipping the ring on my finger, I let out a small smile at the sight. "Mommy looks incredible, doesn't she TT?" Jaden coos, rubbing her back as she rests her head on his shoulder, slowly falling asleep.

"Just hold her for little while, if she sees us leaving she'll throw a fit" I whisper to not disturb Thea. "Little while?! We have to be out of this house in less than 10 minutes" he exclaims, lowering his voice.

I gesture for him to turn around, so I can check if she's asleep. "She's almost there, don't we have 5 minutes?"

Jaden shakes his head no, "she's already sleepy, let's just give her to your mom and head out." I'm tempted to protest but I see the warning look in his eyes. I stretch my arms out, "okay, give me my baby."

Walking downstairs carefully with Jaden beside me, my mom notices that we've come downstairs and is about to speak but Jaden points at Thea and she nods. "Okay, TT. Mommy and daddy will be home soon" I whisper, passing her to my mom. Jaden kisses her forehead and we walk out to the Limo that waiting for us.

Jaden steps out of the limo first, holding his hand for me. I take a deep breath before putting my hand in his and letting him pull me out. The cameras flash as we walk down the red carpet, smiling as we go past. "Mr. Hossler!" a woman in red calls out with a microphone in her hands, Jaden looks at me apologetically, this is exactly what we were trying to avoid but then again, I'm not that surprised.
