July
~I was being shaken awake, forceful yet hesitant. I looked around briefly before my eyes landed on golden brown orbs staring into mine, inches from me. I stared right through them as my confused features landed on the gaze of a broken man. His eyes look puffy, red, almost tear stained. Then in a swift movement, a blur, while the brown eyes were pushed out of my sight line, as a concerned bald man had taken place in front of me. He was talking but I couldn't hear anything he was saying. He had turned to look at EZ, yelling. A hand was being thrown into the other's body. Both men standing up, as they had gotten into each other's faces, words being said, many of which I couldn't comprehend. While I tried to follow the conversation between my dad and my best friend, someone's arms wrapped around me, I jumped quickly, not seeing the figure walk into my line of sight. I was met with his concerned candy apple green eyes. He gave me a small but genuine smile, the one that always made my heart flutter. His eyes held many emotions all at once. I had quietly nodded as I wrapped my arms gently around his neck while he picked me up with little effort, my world had stopped. My vision blurred as he stepped out into the parking lot. I had quickly buried my head in his chest, I was gently set down into my Camaro, the feeling of the leather seats had brought overwhelming comfort. My mind felt heavy as I turned my head to look over at him. His face held so much determination as he drove, focused the road and getting me to safety. Two loud rumbles were getting closer to my Dream. "Dean." I breathed out, his eyes held worry as he hit the gas harder. "You gotta stay awake for me darlin' please." He begged as he stared at me. My head felt heavy as I had laid it back onto the headrest and I grabbed his hand that was sat on the stick shift. "It's gonna be ok." I mumbled as I saw jax in the backseat smiling. "stay with me Jules!" Dean mouthed. My eyes felt too heavy, so they closed. I let jax take my hand as he looked up towards the sky. A white light was cascading down around me, he grabbed me and held me tightly. I wrapped my arms around him and cried. My older brother. My only brother. We had been silent as he walked me through the clouds on a gold pathway, at the end, sat a staircase. "Jax." I breathed, unsure. He grabbed my hand and led me to the end. A force was pushing me away, pulling me. We both turned around to see none other than Gemma Teller-Morrow herself. "Jax." She called, "you know she doesn't belong there." She stated, a smug smile planted on her face. "Oh piss off ma." I replied. She scoffed in my direction, shocked. Jax held my hand tighter, stepping in front of me. "Does she know? What you did?" He yelled angrily. "No." Ma said softly, so much fear in her eyes. "What are you talking about Jax?" I asked. "The tapes. Did you listen to all of them?" He asked. "No. Why, what's going on." I asked confused. "When you wake up, you fucking listen to all of them. Not even all of them, just the last two." He said angrily. "Jax, please what's going on?" I asked. "You'll see." He said, as he stared mom down. I was being pulled away, into a white space, a cabin sat in front of me. "Hey there, Julie bug." A voice rang out. "John?" I asked, he was sat on a big rocking chair, "Teller?" I asked. He breathed out a laugh as he smiled. "Hi babygirl." He greeted. I stepped closer but I was greeted by another voice. "Jules." Ma said, causing me to turn around. I was stuck in the middle, between both my biological parents. "Focus on what's in front of you." Dad said, gazing straight at my mom. "No baby, you care more about the past, focus on me." She said, I stood still. "She doesn't need any more of your damn lies, woman!" Dad yelled. My body felt frozen. "She doesn't need to hear any of this, it's between us! She's not the one that had put a bullet in my back, and dropped me 100 feet into a river!" "Dad?" I asked sacred, "it's ok baby girl, I'm sorry you have to hear all this" he said. "What are you talking about? What do you mean?" I asked, "it ain't nothing baby." He said, his soft brown eyes welcoming. He finally sighed. "My killer, it was-" snap. The cabin in front of me vanished, so did dad, and the rocking chair. "Ma?" I asked her, scared. "It's ok baby, he won't bother us anymore." She said. "What did he mean?" I asked, my voice filled with fear. "Shhhh. Shh, shh, shh. It's all over now baby. Don't you worry about him." She said as she embraced me. "I wanna know ma, please." I asked as I pulled away from her hold on me. She looked into my eyes. "Fine. You really wanna know?" She asked. I nodded. "Alright." She sighed. "Before Happy came into the club he was a Nomad, a hitman for hire." She started. "He put a bullet in your father's back.. pushed him into a river from a bridge." She said. "No. He wouldn't have." I denied, he was the man that raised me when no one else could. "Would I lie to you July?" She asked, "have I ever lied to you?" She continued. "No." I breathed a whisper. "But- he couldn't have been dad's killer." I cried. "He did it baby, Happy is a killer. He's killed many before your father." She broke, crying actual tears. "Oh Ma." I said shakily. "Don't worry baby, I'm with him now." She smiled sadly. "It took so many years." "He would've loved you. You and Jax both." She sniffled. "Ready?" A faint voice asked. "Now." Another replied. A pain coursed through me. The white space was starting to flash around us. "Ma?" I asked. "It's ok baby." "Again." The voice ordered. Pain. Flash. I fell to my knees and groaned. "It's ok, it's all ok baby." Mom reassured me. "Again." Pain. It made me scream out, I quickly clenched my eyes shut, hoping that it would cease. "We got a strong pulse!" A voice called out. The beeping of a machine was the only other sound. "Good job everyone." The many voices started to fade. "Hey, July?" A voice asked. "July? Can you hear me? This is doctor Jay Paine speaking." He said. Silence. "Julie bug?" A quiet, haunted voice breathed out. Warmth quickly shot through my hand. "Hey there sweetheart." A voice spoke, "I know you can't hear me right now." They breathed shakily, "but if you can, by some miracle, you gotta give me a sign, baby. A hand squeeze?" He asked. He had sniffled multiple times through the silence. His head laid into my stomach, I wanted to hug him, to tell him it was all going to be okay. I couldn't move. I yelled into oblivion. "How is she?" Another voice asked. I mentally drifted, and physically I was standing across the room, staring at the three men. Hap was sitting at the corner of the room, EZ sleeping in a chair against the wall, and Dean was sitting directly at my bedside. I looked down and I saw myself, and who I saw, it shook me to my core. A Black eye, bloody cheek, a bruised chest. I was in a neck brace, hooked up to an IV machine, I had a tube taped to the side of my mouth, the only sound was that of the oxygen machine pumping. "Jesus sis." Jax spoke, appearing in the doorway. My eyes darted to him. "You look like you just dealt with some shit." He stated. "Yeah. No thanks to you, asshat." I scoffed, somewhat playfully. He gave me his signature smirk, that Teller glint lit up behind his eyes. I knew it too well, I've dealt with it too many times. "What are you planning, you psycho?" I asked, he only laughed lightly. "I'm not doing anything kid, I don't know what you're talking about." He said, his eyes held that fire, that dangerous Teller fire. We had always called it the Fox Fire. The mischievous shit we were always up to as kids, like foxes. We were always involved in some sort of trouble, whether it be illegal or not. "Fox fire. You're lying." I taunted. He laughed, "oh am I?" He asked as he kicked off the door frame and walked towards me. "I know it Jax." I replied. "What are you up to?" I asked as I backed away, half of me was curious, the other half was nervous. He smiled, that big brother smile. The one that he would use to keep me out of trouble. "What, I can't say hi to my favorite kid sister?" He asked defensively. "No, not without a catch. So what is it now?" I asked, he shrugged, "ain't no catch, only that you don't belong out here-" he said, as he grabbed me up from my waist and threw me over his shoulder. "Jax no! I don't wanna go back!" I begged as he sighed. "Listen to me, as much as I wanna keep you here with me forever, we both know I can't." He said as he grabbed my back with one arm, and the other was holding my thighs up so I couldn't reach the floor. "You have to find all the answers. For us. I'll be here when you come back-""no Jax, no!" I cried in between his speech, "-I promise Jules." He said as he had basically body-slammed me on my back and down on the bed. My eyes shot open and I had gasped. Dean's head snapped up, his face contorted into both worry and shock. "DOCTOR!" He yelled out, causing the quick attention of both EZ, and Dad. I muttered quietly as the doctor and nurse team ran in and took my tube out slowly. "I'm Dr Paine, July." He said, his eyes held something that I couldn't quite comprehend. All I was able to focus on was Dean's hand, it's vice grip on mine. I could feel all of his warmth radiating through my body. It gave me comfort. "The tapes, Dean." I muttered out, "water! Hey, can we get some water in here!" EZ called into the hallway. I pulled Dean down by his jacket and groaned into his ear, "the tapes." I rasped out. He nodded as he pulled his head back to look at me. "Hey, kiddo." Dad's voice rang in my ears, as he broke the silence. I looked over at Dean quickly, his eyes held that knowing look. "Back up." Dean said as he guided happy away. "What the hell are you on about boy? This is my girl. You ain't standing in the way of me seeing her." Happy said defensively. Dean looked over to me again as I shook my head. "Just go sit down Happy, she doesn't want to see you right now." Dean said. "No, fuck that." Happy muttered as he tried to push past Dean to get to my bedside. "July?" Dean asked, they both stared, waiting for me to give an answer. I shook my head, tears forming in my eyes, Happy looked hurt, pissed. I was worried for a moment, about what he would do to Dean, to me. If he killed my father like mom said, what else was he actually capable of doing. "July, babygirl, please, I'm begging don't do this." He said as he stared at me, the only emotion in his eyes was worry. "Please leave." I choked out. "July, Julie bug. Please baby" He pleaded. "I can't right now Happy." I snapped. He stared at me, defeatedly. He pushed Dean off and stormed out into the hall. I broke down quickly. I cried as Dean held me. His scent was calming. To say that I didn't miss him would be the fakest lie I've ever had.
