Chapter 16

Hayes's POV

"We have to stop looking." Jc says. I look out my window. It's now dark. We have been searching for a week now and still haven't found her. I've visited the hospital some times.Heleyna's brother is going to be fine, her mom is still on life support. The guys haven't been doing so good either, Shawn has been cutting even more often, Matt won't get out of bed without breaking down , Nash just looks out the window not moving a muscle, Jc cries himself to sleep, Cameron won't eat, and I......I just keep looking for hope that we will find her. This shouldn't have happened to her. I look at the street lights glowing the sidewalk. I hope she is ok.

"We can't stop. We should call the cops or something." I say.

"Hayes, I miss her as much as you do, but what are the cops going to do? You have her cell phone, the cops can't track her without her cell phone." Jc says. I look down at her phone.

"For all we know she could be dea-"

"SHE'S NOT DEAD!" I almost scream. I look back down. "She can't be."

"Well, do you even know who did this?" Jc asks. I shrug my shoulders. "Was there someone what wanted her gone or just bullied her?"

Then it hit me. Maddie and Jax. It all came to me. Maddie still wants me back but Heleyna was in her way, and when someone is in her way............she gets rid of them. She could be beating Heleyna or something.

"Jc, take me to the police station." I say shooting up from my reclined seat.

"Why?" He asks looking confused.

"I know who did this, I know who took her." I say. His eyes widen at me and he turns the car around. Before I knew it, we were at the police station. I run up to the desk where I find a man in a police uniform.

"Hello sir how may I help you?" The man says.

"My friend has been kidnapped and I need you to track the kidnapper's cell phone number." I say.

"Alright, what is the phone number?" He says putting on his glasses and getting ready to type. I tell him the number and he starts typing into his computer. "I'm sorry sir, the computer isn't going through. We can't track the cell phone it's been disconnected." The man says. God dammit!

"But, we can send some officers with you to help you two find her." The man says lighting up a bit. "That would be great, thanks." Jc says before I say anything. He calls some officers and they go into their cars and start driving and we follow them. We go from door to door asking if anyone has seen any sign of Heleyna, of course none of them seen any. We soon called it a day and went to our hotel rooms. I walk into Matt's room and see Matt on his bed, as always.

"Did you even get up today?" I ask him. He shakes his head and pulls the blanket over him. I walk into my room. I walk over to Nash. He's still looking out the window. "You alright?" I ask. He looks at me with glossy eyes. He looks back at the window and starts to tear up. I walk over to my bag and take out a small granola bar and walk over to cameron. He is sitting on his bed looking at Twitter or something. I put out my hand giving him the granola bar. He looks at it and smacks it out of my hand. I fall on my bed and start crying. I then get a phone call from Danielle. I go in the hallway and answer my phone.

Hayes: hello?

Danielle: hey Hayes, how are you feeling?

Hayes: I don't know, at first I'm fine, but once I think about it, I just want to cry.

Danielle: She will be fine, you just have to have hope. I have to go though bye Hayes, good luck.

Hayes: Bye

I hang up my phone and walk back into my room, everyone is still in the same place as they were when I left. I fall on my bed and bury my face in my pillow. I didn't cry though, because like Danielle said, we have to have hope, and that's what I have. My phone then rings. I look at the caller ID, it said unknown. I hesitantly answer it.

Hayes: Hello?

Unknown: Hayes?

Hayes: Who is this?

Unknown: Hayes, its Heleyna

Hayes: HELEYNA!!!! OMG ARE YOU OKAY???

Heleyna: Hayes please help me.

Hayes: What happened? Who took you?

I then hear shuffling in the background then I hear screaming. All of a sudden I hear someone get slapped. Then I hear breathing on the other line.

Unknown: Hello Hayes, as you can tell its Jax. That's right, I kidnapped her, and if you want to see Heleyna again you have to do something for me.

I look down hesitantly and start breathing heavily. I take in a deep breath.

Hayes: What is it?
