Chapter 2

Heleyna's POV

My mouth fell open when I heard those three names. Nash, Hayes, and Skylnn. I can't believe they are standing right in front of me.

"We noticed some boxes outside on your yard, are you our new neighbors?" Elizabeth asks with a smile. Wait they are my NEIGHBORS?!?

"Yes." I say trying not to fan girl.

"Can we come in?" She asks.

I nod my head and move out of the way so they can come in.  They walk inside and sit on the couch and I sit on the couch across from them. There was a long amount of silence until Elizabeth spoke.

"So... where did you guys come from?" She asks.

"California." I say shyly. I can't believe I am in front of two famous viners. Wait...what am I talking about? My cousin is in magcon, and my friends are you-tubers, why am I acting like this?

"Is it just you?" she asks worriedly.

"Oh no, it's me, my mom, and my brother Michael." I respond.

"What about your dad?" She asks curiously. I look down trying to hold in my tears. My dad died the same day Mikayla died. That was the worst day of my life.

"Oh I am so sorry sweetie." Elizabeth says noticing that I don't want to talk about it.

"I will be right back." I say sadly.

They nod their heads and I run upstairs to get mom. "Mom, our new neighbors are here to meet you." I say as I open the door to her room.

"Really? Oh how nice of them!" She says pulling me downstairs. "Hi, my name is Emily, Heleyna's mom." She say holding out her hand

"Hi, my name is Elizabeth." Elizabeth says while shaking my mom's hand. "And these are my kids,Nash, Hayes, and Skylnn." She says. They all shake hands then the moms go into their own conversation. I don't know why but Nash and Hayes have been staring at me this whole time.  It's starting to really creeping me out.

"I'M HOME!" Michael says while holding the bags of In-N-Out in his hands. We all just give him blank stares.

"Nobody cares? Ok, well, would you care if I tell you that I met a girl?"

"Really?" I jump up and squeal loudly. He nods with a huge smile on his face.

"Wait a second."My mom says walking up to Michael. "What's her name? How old is she?Are her parents nice? Does she have a good job? I SWEAR MICHAEL WILSON IF THAT GIRL DOESN'T HAVE A GOOD JOB YOU ARE GOING TO MARCH OUT THAT DOOR AND FIND A NEW GIRL!!!" My mom says pointing at the door.

"Well her name is Rose, she is my age, 18, I haven't met her parents yet, and she has a pretty decent job, she works at a music store." He says as he holds his hands up in surrender.

Me, Nash, and Hayes try to hold our laughs in.

"Ok, but I got my eye on you." Mom says as she tries hard not to laugh. My brother then grabs his burger and fries then heads up to his room.

"So do you guys want anything to drink." I ask Nash, Hayes, and skylnn.

"No, I want to go home." Skylnn says.

"Ok I will take you home to Maddie, I will be right back." Nash says when he heads out the door. Hayes gets up and sits next to me, I guess he wants to talk.

"So who is Maddie?" I ask curiously.

"My girlfriend." Hayes says with a small smile.

"Oh ok." I say.

"What school do you go to." He asks.

"Ridgeway High School." I say looking down sadly. Wait, why am I sad? Just a second later I was fine? Is it that time of month for me? WHY AM I FEELING LIKE THIS!?

"Is something wro-" Hayes starts.

"IM BAAAAACK!" Nash says as he sits next to Hayes.

"Ok kids.. " Elizabeth says,"Me and Emily were thinking that you guys should get to know each other more, so we were wondering if just you three would like to go to the fair." She says with excitement and my mom looks at me smiling. I know she is trying to get me to forget about Mikayla. I won't let her.

"Can Maddie come?" Hayes asks. Here comes the sadness again...WTF!!??

"Who cares about Maddie, you need to focus on other people." Elizabeth says while looking at me. I see Nash look down at his feet sadly.

I wonder what's wrong with him.
