Chapter 7

Night of the fair

Heleyna's POV

I walk downstairs with Matt and watch Spongebob Squarepants and eating cereal, at night. We are so immature. My phone then buzzes in the middle of the episode.

Unknown: Hey it's Hayes,is it okay if we pick you up at 7:00?

OH NO! I TOTALLY FORGOT TONIGHT WE WERE GOING TO THE FAIR. I look at the clock 5:45. Shoot.

Me: sounds great

I save his number and dash up to my room. I immediately hop into the shower. I come out and quickly blow dry my hair.

I go into the closed and take out a plain, short sleeved, black crop top and black high wasted shorts. I take out my black high top converse and put them on. I look at the time. 6:30.

I go back into the bathroom and take out the hair curler and curl the ends of my hair. I put it away and take out a black studded bow. I take the sides of my hair and clip them in the back with the bow. I then put on mascara and eyeliner. I'm ready.

I look at the clock again, 7:02. I grab my phone and walk downstairs.

"Looks like someone is going on a date." Matt says in an annoying girl voice.

"No Matt, I am going to the fair with Nash and Hayes." I say.

"Sure you are." He says sarcastically.

"What's this date I hear of." Michael says while while walking down the stairs.

"It's not a date,  I am going to the fair with Nash and Hayes." I say getting annoyed.

"Okay. But I've got my eye on you." He says walking back upstairs.

I look at the clock again, 7:05, shoot, I should get going. I say bye to Matt and walk outside and find Hayes and Nash standing at the end of my driveway.

"You ready to go?" Nash asks.

"Yup" I say with a big smile growing on my face.

"LET'S GO!" Hayes says raising his fist up.

We enter the fair and we immediately went to the bumper cars. I go into one of the cars and so do Hayes and Nash.

I kept bumping into Nash and every time I do he would always hit his head which made me laugh uncontrollably.

After that we decided to go into this fun house when you are trapped in mirrors until you find your way out. We walk in and I immediately regretted it. I was lost.

"NASH? HAYES?" I yell. No answer. I start walking down a hall and I bumped into a mirror, which caused me to fall on my butt.

I get up and start walking the other way. I then turn around and walk the other way. I then bump into a person this time, but he caught me before I fell again.

I look up and find Hayes holding my hand and sparks fly everywhere. "Hayes where's Nash?" I asked.

"I don't know, come on I know the way out." He says not letting my hand go. We finally find the exit and see Nash on his phone.

"Where the hell were you guys?" Nash asked worriedly.

"Trying to find our way out." I say pointing at the 'fun house'.

"And it took you 4 minutes to get out?" He asked again.

"Yup." I say popping the 'p'.

We go on a few rides that made me scream at the top of my lungs. We then decide to go for ice cream. We leave the fair and go to the ice cream store across the street.

I order vanilla ice cream with oreos and go sit down while the guys get theirs and sit with me. We eat our ice cream in silence because we were all on our phones. 

I look at my instagram and saw that I went from 1000 to 2000 followers in a day. I then realize that Matt gave me a shout out so I can get more followers. Yay. We finish our ice cream and Nash decides to go home leaving me and Hayes alone...... together.

He leaves the ice-cream place and me and Hayes just sit there awkwardly.

"I want to take you somewhere." He says grabbing my hand again and pulls me out the door. I started blushing like crazy.

We arrive at a park where I find a blanket lying on the ground in between two trees. We both lie down on the blanket and look up at the stars. Then I doze off.

Hayes' POV

I look over and find Heleyna sleeping. She looks so cute. I carry her bridal style and walk her home since her house is only a minute away. I knock on the door and Matt answers.

"Hey Matt. Heleyna fell asleep so I carried her home." I said putting Heleyna on her couch.

"Thanks Hayes. Did you invite her to Macon yet?" He asked.

"No I thought you did already." I said.

"I didn't, I will invite her when she wakes up." Matt says. I nod my head and walk outside of her house and head to mine. I close my door and head up stairs. I close my bedroom door and jump on my bed.

Today was fun.

Time of death: January 20,2015 @ 4:02

Way she died: Stroke, heart attack, and aneurysm all at the same time.

I was talking to my mom on the phone, she then put me on hold. She comes back on the line and says "Heleyna, grandma died."

I hung up the phone and started crying uncontrollably knowing that I will never see her again. I know I wasn't the perfect granddaughter, but I did love her . She left me too early.

I never visited her in the hospital. I know now that I fucking regret it. I miss her already. And with my grandpa having cancer,  it's too much to take in. I miss her already.

I wasn't the perfect one, I wouldn't want to visit her house sometimes, but now, I wish I spent every moment with her .

R.I.P Grandma, heaven has gained a beautiful angel. You will be missed. I love you❤. I will see you soon.......we all will. Vote for this chapter to show support.
