Chapter 31

Heleyna's POV

*3 weeks later*

"HELEYNA!!" Kian screams jumping on my bed. I pull out my headphones and look up from my book.

"What?" I whine.

"Get ready, we're going to the beach." He says smiling.

"I'm staying home, you guys have fun." I say putting my headphones back in. Then I can feel him grab my legs and drag me off my bed.

"Come on."

"Kian no."

"It'll be fun."

"I can't read Connor's book in peace." I say. I then grab the leg of my bed and hold on for my life. He sets my legs down and I turn onto my back. Kian comes and hovers over me.

"Please." He pouts.

"Noooo." I whine again. Then I feel a soft pair of lips connect with mine. Our lips move in sync and it was full of passion. He asks for entrance but I deny it and pull away from the kiss.

"Fine, I'll go." I say.

"YAY!" He squeals like a kid and leaves the room. I go to my closet and take out my bathing suit and clothes to wear on top of it (picture). I grab a bag and put sunscreen, a towel, sunglasses, a water bottle, Connor's book, headphones, and my phone.

I put on black vans shoes and I walk downstairs and we go into the car.

Skipping da car ride

We arrive at the beach and we quickly jump out of the car. We find a spot and set our stuff down. While the guys run to the water I sit down on my towel and read my book. I take out my phone and headphones and blast Stitches by Shawn Mendes and listen to his beautiful voice. I miss him. I miss everyone. Mostly... I miss Hayes...

Midway into the song I feel someone tap on my shoulder. I take my headphones out and look up and see Kian and the guys. And let me tell you, they were very wet.

"Heleyna why won't you come with us?" Connor asks.

"I never liked to go to the waves, especially what happened at magcon." I said.

I feel someone grab my hand and take me to the water. I look and see sam was taking me followed by everyone else.

"Must you people always drag me?" I ask.

"Yup." Jc says. Kian comes to my free hand and holds it. I see a big wave coming towards up and I feel anxious all over. I can't do this.

I let go of Kian and Sam's hands and I back away a little. Kian grabs my hand and says "I'm not letting anything happen to you, I promise." He says. It's funny cause Hayes said the same thing. I hope Kian keeps this one. He pulls me back to the water and the wave comes crashing down on us. It was cold, but it felt nice. After a few more waves and all of us splashing and tackling each other I go back to my towel to dry off.

I hear my phone buzzing so I pick it up and see a private number calling. Probably someone is prank calling me. Without hesitation I press the end call button and put my shirt and shorts back on.

A few moments later my phone buzzes again and I see the private number again. I get nervous an hang up again. Then I get a message. I open my messages and read it:

Private number: turn around

I get nervous and I slowly turn around and see Kian making out with a random girl.

"KIAN!?!" I yell. He breaks the kiss and pushed the girl back a little.

"Heleyna, it isn't what it looks like." He says.
