Chapter 52

*3 days later*
*2 more days till homecoming*

Heleyna's POV

"Heleyna, please open the door." My brother, Michael, says.

"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE." I say and throw a shoe at my door to scare him. I knew that worked because he sighed and walked away.

Three days....its been three days since Hayes has been missing. I hope he is okay. I look at
the time 7:20. I better get ready for school.

I don't really dress to impress in school anymore. There's no one to impress anyways. These past few days, Maddie and I have became closer friends. Cameron, Danielle, and Rita have been trying to cheer me up but nothin ever works. The only thing that would cheer me up right now is being in Hayes' arms.

I put on my outfit, (picture), and I throw my hair in a messy bun. I grab my backpack and walk downstairs and see my brother holding a plate of pancakes.

"Just thought you should eat something." He says and hands the plate of pancakes to me. I shake my head and brush past him and walk out the door. I look next door and see Nash and Taylor making out. Ugh, his brother has been missing for three days and all he cares about is sucking the living hell out of that slut's face.

I walk through the doors of school and to my locker. I put in the combination and open my locker and the second I do balloons, confetti, gummybears, and cans of Arizona fall on me. I have a top locker and I'm pretty short so ya.

"SURPRISE!"

"AHHHHH!" I scream as I turn and see Rita, Danielle, Cameron, and Maddie pop out of a corner.

"SHIT! DONT DO THAT EVER AGAIN!" I scream, scaring all of them.

"Sorry, we, adjust thought you needed some cheering up." Cameron says playing with his fingers and the rest look down in shame. My expression turns from angry to sympathy.

"I'm sorry, you guys are so sweet I just....the only thing that will make me happy is seeing Hayes again.

"Hey, we will find him, Carter skipped school today just to help Mikayla search for him." Maddie says and hugs me.

"I better call him and say thanks." I say pulling out my phone.

"I don't think that's a good idea." Rita says.

"Why?" I ask.

"After you left Rita was so mad at Carter she literally threw his phone out the window and it landed in the pool. Then he jumped out the window and dived into the pool to get it." Danielle says.

"He was 2 seconds 2 late." Rita adds.

I couldn't help but break out into laughter.

"Ayyy, there's that smile we've been waiting to see." Cameron says.

"Don't get used to it." I say and my smile fades again.

The bell rings and before someone else could say anything I grab my book and head over to my 1st period.

Time skip

School was pretty quiet at lunch. I didn't know how much of an effect Hayes had on people. Everyone would just look at their lunch, cry, shut people out, etc... Some random group of girls are posting pictures everywhere to help people find him and I'd they did they would call me. Some people are spreading worldwide #helpfindhayes.

I go home and plop onto my bed like I always do. And shut my eyes for a little.

-DREAM-

"HAYES! Don't do it!" I scream holding him back.

"I have to, what's the point in living anymore.

The oncoming train was getting closer. Hayes slips out of my grip and runs into the middle of the railroad. I can't let him do this, not even for a stupid ass girl like Taylor. I run and push Hayes out of the way but I end up in the middle of the track.

"NO!" He yells.

I turn my head and watch the train almost inches to my face.

I flinch as the train almost hits me.

-Dream over-

"HELEYNA WAKE UP!" Mikayla yells.

"WHAT!" I scream back.

"I found Hayes..."

"WHERE IS HE?" I ask/yell.

"Grab my hand, I'll take you there." She says and holds out her hand.

Acting fast, I slip on my Uggs and hold onto her hand tight. For a second I see pitch black, then I see us appearing a into an airport.. So that's how she teleports .She taps on my shoulder and points at a figure walking in a distance. THATS HAYES! IT LOOKS LIKE HE IS GOING TO THE GATE THAT LEADS TO THE FLIGHT! NO!

I start sprinting to his as fast as I could.

"HAYES!!!" I yell grabbing his attention. He looked surprised at first then he opens his arms to hug me. But I jump, wrap my legs around his lower torso, and kiss him. He kisses back. I smile into the kiss and I feel him smirk. I pull away and look at him. He smiles.

"I missed you." He says as he sets me down.

"Where were you planning on going?" I ask.

"I was going to California to see you." He says.

I hug him. "Please don't." I say.

"I won't now that I know your here." He says.

A tear falls down my cheek. This is home.

And I don't want to be anywhere else but in his arms.
