Chapter 24

Heleyna's POV

"What?! I can't leave now! I just got a decent life and now we are leaving?" I panic.

"I'm sorry Heleyna, but there is nothing we can do. We are giving you 2 hours to gather your stuff and say bye to everyone." He says and walks away.

I can't believe this is happening. I am leaving after I have a nice boyfriend and that my best friend is having trouble keeping her home. I turn around and I see Matt and Michael standing there. Matt had tears threatening to come out of his eyes. And Michael was standing there with no expression on his face. I brush past them to get my things ready to go.

As I finish packing my last bag I hear a knock at the door. There I see Danielle and Rita standing in the doorway. Danielle runs and hugs me followed by Rita.

"I hope we will see you again." Rita whispers.

"You will, just not for a while." I say.

"Here I will take your bags downstairs." Danielle says grabbing a suitcase and a bag. Just as Rita was about to grab a bag I grip her arm and pull her to my closet where I keep my money. I reach on the top shelf and grab a shoe box. I take out 500 dollars and hand it to Rita. "Please give this to Danielle. It will help with her groceries and buy her some new clothes." I say as she takes the money from my hand. We hug again then I put the rest of the money in my backpack and we walk down stairs together. Rita gives the money to Danielle making her cry even more as she took it.

We walk upstairs to grab the rest of my things until the doorbell rings. I open it and see Hayes standing there with a smile. His smile quickly faded once he sees the bags lying on my couch and floor. "You're leaving today?" He asks putting his head down.

"Actually, in a couple of hours." I say. I see a tear fall on the floor, he's crying. I lift up his head. "Hey don't worry, it's not forever." I say putting my hand against his cheek.

"It will feel like forever." He says. I was speechless. I was never good at comforting people. He as every right to be sad. I will be gone for 5-8 months, maybe longer. He turns around and walks back to his house as I watch him. He glances at me for a couple of seconds then storms in his house.

2 hours later

I walk outside where I see all of my friends lined up helping me get my things in the car. I walk over and start with Michael. I hug him and say "I'm going to miss you bro. Stay strong and don't get Rose pregnant."

"Hahaha okay." he says and lets go of the hug.

I walk over to Matt.

"Hey, make sure Michael doesn't do anything stupid." I say and hug him. "Ok, I love you." He says "I love you too."

I walk over to Rita. "Make sure Danielle is okay. I will send you as much money as possible to give to her." I say and hug her. "I will." She replies.

I walk over to Danielle.

"Be strong, what Cameron did was was wrong but.......forgive and forget right?" I say. "I will forgive him, but I will never forget what he did." She says and pulls me in a hug.

I walk over to Carter.

"I will miss you, don't break Rita's heart or you will wake up one day very confused in the middle of Cuba." I say and hug him.

"Haha I will make note of that." He laughs and hugs back.

I walk over to Cameron.

"What you did was a dick move to Danielle, but I still love you as a friend." I say and hug him.

"I regret it a lot, it was a dick move, I hope I will never be so stupid to do something like that again." He says.

I walk over to Nash.

"I hope you forgive me for what I did." He says.

"Aww come here you blue eyed freak." I say and hug him. "Face time me as much as possible." I say.

"Will do." He replies.

I then walk over to Hayes.

I do nothing but hug him. "If you can wait, then I can too." I say.

"I will." He says. I look up and kiss him on the lips. "I love you." I say.

"I love you too." He says as we both start to tear up. I wipe a tear from his face and say. "It's not forever. When I walk in that car, I expect a smile from both of us because we both know I am coming back." I say. He nods and I give him one last peck on the lips before walking to the car. Trevor opens the door for me and we both sit down. I look out the window and see everyone in tears except for me and Hayes. We both have a smile on our faces because we both know that.....
