(Ellie's POV)

2 year's later

I'm not dead. I'm just trapped. I'm trapped in the portal, again. But this time we have come back to be safe. That man that kidnapped me and then harry and louis found me, he came back and he tried to kill me. But liam save me and in return killed him, he was only meant to hurt him but he was pushed into a wooden spike and then he turned cold. Turned out that he was my uncle. He had turned into a vampire and my dad put him in the portal to protect himself and his brother.

"Honey, I'm gonna go visit your auntie in the normal world. Do you want to come?" She asked disturbing my thoughts and making me jump.

"You jumped me" I said jumping out of my skin

"Sorry honey" she said bringing out her hole body on show instead of her head.

"Yeah I'll come" I said. We agreed that if we were too move back, we would still visit the normal world but we would have to stay hidden. We made our funeral and our death believable. We put a spell on us both that we would be knocked out for a week. Our family agreed to help with the secret but in return for a few forbidden spells. I felt bad because I was leaving harry with a false message of goodbye. The plan was to say that we mixed a wrong spell and it killed us. That's what liam would tell the the other's ... And harry. I got out of my Pajama's and got dressed into some black skinny high waisted jeans with the ankles rolled up, a black long sleeved crop top  and some white converse. I grabbed my phone from the side and went downstairs.

"Won't you be cold?" She said obviously not approving my outfit.

"I'll be fine" I said grabbing my bomber jacket and pushing up the sleeves. My hair was curled at the ends and because it was long, it looked dead nice.

"Thats better, remember sweetie we don't need any more added attention when we go, we're meant to be dead" she said as if it were casual. I put my phone in my coat pocket and nodded at what she was saying putting a black beanie on.

"I know" I said before we left. It didn't take us long to get to the portal, and through it. Once we were out, we were greeted by a small short man

"Hello ladies and welcome back to paradise" he said

"More like a camp" mum said muttering under her breath as we walked away. I smiled at her comment and followed her to the direction of our aunts. We had to walk past Harry's old flat to get to her house.

Harry

I haven't seen in a while. I wonder if he's back. Probably, he might have heard the news about me and came back. Or he may have heard about and might still be out there. I think it's better this way, him thinking I'm dead means that our last goodbye was forever. I really want to see him but it's for the best, it's not fair for him to constantly be protecting me. It never was fair to put him in a position or choosing me all the time. No, I have had too much time to think about this and its better this way.

"Are you okay sweetie?" Mum asked noticing I was shivering. I bet she thought it was because it was cold but it was about the fact that I would never see him again.

"Yeah I'm fine" I said making it out to be the weather. As we walked past the apartment, the doors slammed open and I saw Harry rush out of the them and standing there taking in the poluted air. He looked long over due for a hair cut and clean. I walked slowly past trying to hide my face but at the same time, i tried to watch him. I saw Liam come after his a put his hand on Harry's back.

"It's not true" harry roared pushing he door really hard and really fast out of anger. I'm guessing he might have just heard the news m

"I'm sorry but it is, we saw her body" he said referring to me. I saw harry run his hand rough his hair and put the other hand on his waist. I pulled my beanie further down so he couldn't see my face as clearly.

"Come inside" liam said touching harrys shoulder. Harry turned to look at me and my mum. Shit. I ducked my hair down and walked a little faster.

"We need to get out of here" I whispered to mum. I turned back and saw harry really staring at me trying to work out who I was.
"Harry? Do you know them?" I heard liam say, his voice becoming more quiet. I turned around and saw a man standing in front of me looking down. He pulled up my beanie and I saw him. I saw his eyes were welled up which made mine.

"Ellie?" He said smiling, placing his hand on my waist. I didn't know what to do, i just stood there frozen. I saw mum in the corner of my eye who had carried on walking away. Great thanks mum.

"Hey" I said smiling. He pressed his lips onto mine and we started laughing and crying at the same time together. I wrapped my arms around his kneck to pull me closer towards him.

"You've got to stop pretending that your dead" he said making me giggle.

"I'm sorry" I whispered about to burst into tears. I still have to pretend I'm dead, not just my sake but for his.

"For what?" He asked. I knew that now I would have to leave. I would have to be the one who would be saying goodbye

"This" I said letting go of him and escaping his grasp of me. He looked so confused as i turned to look at him.

"What?" He whispered as I walked away. I ran to catch up with mum and eventually caught up with her. I turned behind me and he was there.

"I'm not letting you go again" he said determined.

"I'm sorry but I've gone" I lied. Mum turned around at this point and muttered a spell under her breath, the spell to make me a ghost for 12 hours, harry will still be able to see me but he cannot touch.

"What? No your right here" he said before trying to reach for my hand but it went straight through. I felt so bad when i looked down and saw him trying.

"Ellie?" He said sounding confused

"I'll meet you there honey" she said walking off.

"What's going on?" He asked confused. He tried to cup my head with his hands but it didn't work. He started crying silently, muttering to himself.

"I don't understand" he said. Every movement breaking my heart each second.
"I'm dead" I lied, letting out single tear drops.
