The survivors were teleported outside the city walls and near a forest.

"Run!!! Run with all you have!!!! Don't stop for anything!!!!"

Vohom, blood smeared across his face as he held his unsheathed sword up high, commanded the survivors to run for their lives.

...And so they ran with everything they had.

The Laplace Demon, Grand Wizard, Vohom, and the remains of the New Dawn and Grand Military, who would become known as the "Lucky Sixty-Eight", ran into the forests outside the Capital City.

Running together in one big clunked together group, they were moving in the direction that would lead them directly to the Domains of the Inquisition, which was still very far away.

As they entered the forests, the survivors heard thunderous roars coming from within the Capital City, and looking back for a second the Grand Wizard saw the skyscraping Great Minotaurs breathing out fire as they looked in their direction.

They can't follow. By the time they get over those walls we'll be far gone.

He then looked back, and his eyes narrowed while he was in thought.

Is there any way for us to go faster?

Everyone here is moving as fast as they can, however, I don't know if it'll be enough. I'd imagine that the Minotaur King, Vermilion, and whomever else is coming to chase us right now. Unlike those Great Minotaurs, they'll be able to match our speed.

If only the White Raven was here... He would use Tempest Speed and accelerate everyone past their current limits.

"Ambush!!!"

Laplace Demon's eyes flashed emerald green, and she yelled to warn her fellow survivors of the near future.

Elemental Knights jumped in front of them from the forest, and right away they unsheathed their swords as they charged at the tired survivors.

They used many different types of - what it was known at this time - magicka schools; fire, earth, wind and water all attacked the survivors at the same time. It surprised the survivors, and the Inquisitors as well.

"God fucking dammit!!!"

Vohom yelled as he held out his left hand, his hand glowed and multiple Exploding Trees then emerged from the ground. The trees absorbed the attacks and attempted to latch onto the attackers, however, they exploded way before they were able to make contact.

"Survive!! Give everything you have!!!"

Vohom wanted every single one of the Lucky Sixty-Eight to survive the attack, but he knew that it just wasn't possible. Despite that, he would continue pushing for everyone to live, and he would do whatever he could to protect them.

While he was definitely no Inquisitor, Vohom was the closest thing the Inquisition had to an Inquisitor without actually holding the title. He didn't hold the Inquisitorial Covenant, but he might've been able to hold himself against the White Raven.

If he had the Inquisitorial Covenant he'd be a much more dangerous man.

So when it came to dealing with the Elemental Knights, who together were just as strong as individual Inquisitors, Vohom managed to fight them as an equal and not as a pest who was only slowing them down.

"Arrrrrgggghhhh---- Haaaaaaaa!!!!"

He relentlessly showed the Elemental Knights why he was someone to be feared. Meeting them head on and slashing away their swords, he showed no fear as he battled with little concern for his own well being.
