We've reached the end.

"RRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA----------!!!!!"

"VVVREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-------------!!!!!"

The defying Minotaur King roared at the Dragon King. With a mighty great ax emerging from the ground beside him, he grabbed its handle and swung the immeasurable weapon at Alpha. The fantastical Dragon King screeched in response as he flapped his wings and lifted himself up into the sky.

The King of the Sky and the King of the Ground, both were ready for a faceoff that could only be seen once in a lifetime. However, the fight was not meant to be.

Right as the enraged Minotaur King was about to attack the Dragon King; an ice-blue flash overtook all of Sol and blinded the world. For a long time, all anyone could see was a white world of nothingness. Empty, desolate, and lacking any characteristics.

In the empty world, Alpha, crimson-eyed and on his knees, was staring at the ground. Tears had filled his eyes as the realization of what he just experienced kicked in. He had just killed Vermilion with Excalibur and his chains. He had fallen for Solteer and Nosferatu's treachery. And he made his closest brother, Zheoyon, an eternal rival. Because of those things, his heart ached with an emptiness he has never felt before.

He felt cold, very cold. Like he was naked in a tundra of ice and snow. His head was spinning and he constantly thought that nobody was coming to save him - damning him to loneliness.

At that moment, Alpha did not feel as if he was the Dragon King. He was weak and afraid. He wasn't some omnipotent godlike being. Instead, he was nothing but an empty shell. But despite these feelings inside of him, this was not the end of his story.

Waves of golden light radiating joyful fulfilling feelings appeared from behind him, and with his heart yearning to be fulfilled, he turned and felt the tight embrace of Saiya wrapping her arms around him.

"S-S-S... Saiya...?"

He was surprised by her sudden appearance, but not even her being with him could stop the tears flowing down from his eyes. His tears soaked her chest. He then looked up at her face and spoke.

"...Saiya... Saiya... Saiya..."

Every single time he said her name more tears streamed down.

And every time her name was said, Saiya responded.

"I'm here... I'm here... I'm here, Alpha..."

Despite her being with him, Alpha kept talking.

"Saiya... please... make it go... make it go away... Save me from this... I don't want to feel this pain... I don't want these emotions anymore... Make them go away... please..."

Saiya knew the feelings that he spoke of. Because of that, she rubbed the back of his head and smiled.

"I can consume your agony, I can consume your sadness, I can consume your hatred and suffering, ...if you want I can take it all so you can be the dragon you're needed to be... If that is what you want, ...I will give you this gift."

Alpha tightly grabbed her.

"Please... please..." he spoke as he stared into her eyes.

He was practically begging for her to do it. In his eyes, the only way he could have salvation was through her.

And she gave him what he desired.

"You are my King and more than that. If you wish for it, it shall be done."

She pulled out the ring from earlier and placed it on Alpha's ring finger. Then, she leaned her head forward and locked lips with Alpha. Some of his tears touched her face. But suddenly, both of them glowed fantastical gold.

Crimson streaks that looked like snakes made of light left his body and were absorbed by Saiya. As a result, Alpha's eyes were being cleared up and returned back to the way they were. The crimson streaks gave Saiya the sadness and anger that was within his heart from her one and only lover. She was unbothered by them as the sense of duty and joy from knowing that she was protecting Alpha overtook all other feelings.

Current day, Saiya forced herself on Alpha, he didn't resist her, and some of his tears - just like before - had again touched her face. Crimson streaks left him as his pain was again being absorbed by Saiya. However, unlike before, the mark left behind by the crimson pain would never be forgotten. Instead of his eyes returning to being sapphire blue, they turned amethyst purple. A sign that Alpha could never return to the lifestyle he once had. A sign he would never hold the innocence he once had. A sign that the memories of what he had experienced would always be with him and never disappear. It was also a sign that he had reached a state of what could be permanent emotional neutrality. Never breaking down as he had once had into tears and anger. Never having hope, excitement, happiness, or true delight in his life ever again.

At the same time, golden streaks left Saiya and were absorbed by Alpha. The golden streaks returned Alpha to whom he used to be a long time ago; all the knowledge in Sol that Alpha had collected over the years, all of his memories, and it contained every single part of his old personality - that was now affected by neutral emotional state.

His old personality would supplant the personality of Alpha that had originated from the reincarnation of the Lord Inquisitor Paladin. However, it would never get rid of the knowledge the Lord Inquisitor had gained, and the experiences he had. For those experiences would always be part of him whether he desired them to be or not, and they could never be forgotten.

The me of back then watched as the transformation happened. When the deed was done, Alpha and Saiya's red faces backed away from each other as they released their lips - a little noodle of saliva falling down between them. They looked at each other and completely understood how the other felt about them.

Saiya then took two rings out of her pocket and they both looked down at them. One was the ring she was saving for him, and the other she had on earlier she took off so he could complete the ceremony.

Alpha then watched as she returned his ring back to his ring finger, and he then returned the favor to her seconds later. Once the ceremony had finally been completed, the me of back then spoke with a solemn form of glee;

"Welcome back, Alpha Pendragon," the me of back then turned to Saiya. "Congrats to you, Saiya Pendragon, for completing your long journey to bring Domination back."

For all of time, I've always wished nothing but happiness and love for both of them.
