In a pitch black room where you couldn't see your hand even if you held it before your eyes, they patiently waited.
Metal cogs spinning to their right and left filled their ears. Slowly, sunlight appeared through an expanding crack in between two doors. When the doors were opened just enough, golden sunlight beamed down upon sapphire Dragon eyes and silver Minotaur eyes.
And when the doors were fully opened, the sons of Longinus stepped through.
Alpha Longinus, cladded in alabaster white Dragon armor, the Holder of the Domination Covenant. Zheoyon Iskandar, dressed in sable black Minotaur armor, the Holder of the Defiance Covenant.
Together, the sons walked through the tan cheerful and colorful streets of Sol. The streets themselves were packed with humans, elves, beasts, and many other races. All of them lived in harmony as equals, and very frequently they intermingled amongst themselves. They conducted commerce, showed off their craftsmanship, and laughed together as none of them saw each other as any different from themselves despite being from different races. Not a single one of them feared that something bad would happen when they disagreed with each other.
It was a beautiful scene.
When Alpha and Zheoyon joined them, all attention was turned to Longinus' sons. It was as if they snapped their focus to them, and abandoned everything else they were doing.
"Alpha! Alpha! Come to me, I have a gift for you!" a merchant yelled from his stand.
"Zheeeeeooooyyyyoooonnn!!!" an entire row of blushing women holding their faces would scream from being in his presence.
The ground then shook as towering Great Minotaurs walked the streets next to Zheoyon. The ground was shaking as everytime their feet returned to the ground they came down hard, and caused tiny cracks all over the ground as their feet sent shockwaves throughout the city.
"VREEEEEEEEEE----!!!!"
Dragons, the kings of the sky, flew above the city and screeched as they celebrated the return of their king. Flying amongst them were members of the Phoenix race, Pegasus race, and other mythical beasts that shared the sky with the dragons.
Like the minotaurs and the rest, the dragons enjoyed Sol's peace.
Zheoyon turned his attention to the crowd of lusting women beside him, and they all fell over as they screamed upon having his eyes' focused upon them.
"Ahhhhhhhh--- Zheoooooooyooooon----!!!!!"
Alpha chuckled because of the scene. He then elbowed Zheoyon.
"Well aren't you lucky? An entire row of maidens follow you around and worship every step you take. Not many men can claim to have an entire cult dedicated to them."
Zheoyon sighed.
"Any typical man would feel lucky from having an entire cult of women dedicated to worshipping them, and only them."
He crossed his arms and smirked.
"Apologies for taking all your thunder away, Alpha. If I wasn't around, you would have a massive following of your own."
"Nonsense! Nonsense!!"
Alpha waved him off with a smile.
"I can never match your good looks, Zheoyon. You're leagues ahead of me! And besides, I already have snatched the one and only woman I need in my life."
...It's funny looking back at these conversations that Alpha and Zheoyon used to have. Alpha complimenting Zheoyon's looks, and then saying that he only needs one woman in his life is amusing considering the women that joined him later on in life; Violet, Merelona, and the others.
