The same night Icarus revived the fallen warriors from the Legion of Death War.

Captain-General Cassius was in his dimly lit office room. Next to him was a pile of papers and a single lit candle. In front of him was a single document and the quill he's using to write. The entire room was completely quiet. The blinds behind him were shut to keep out any sources of light from coming in. All the doors were closed to keep out any sounds. The only sound in the room was the tip of his quill moving against the document.

He was the only one inside, and he had placed a sign on the door to avoid being interrupted unless it was an emergency that could be dealt with by someone else. So far it had worked - no one had come to visit him.

Someone then calmly knocked on his door.

"Yes?"

He spoke as he looked up. He waited for whoever it was knocking on the door to come inside and tell him what they needed. He had assumed that the interrupter would enter, and if they didn't then they would've explained what was needed from the door. But strangely enough, the interrupter never came inside. The interrupter only knocked on the door.

So he went back to work on his document, and seconds later the knocking came back.

"You may enter!!!"

Captain-General Cassius yelled as he continued to write his document. This time around he didn't even bother to stop. Whatever the person needed didn't matter to him anymore. He or she was clearly playing games with him and it had gotten on his nerves. If they were on the verge of death, too bad. He was going to let them suffer for the last few moments of their annoying life.

That was what he thought, but in reality it was a different story.

The door was then knocked on again.

"Enter, damn you!! Stop playing these games!! Good grief..."

The door then went silent as he stared at it. He waited for someone to enter, but like before no one came. He wasn't deterred. He continued to stare at the door for a few minutes straight. He was waiting to see if the knocking was going to continue or if it was going to go away, and he was hoping for the latter.

He then listened as he heard footsteps moving away from the door. When they were no longer audible, he sighed. He then looked back down at his paper.

"...Geez. These damn palace pranksters. Always thinking that they can just mess around with an old--"

Knock, knock.

Captain-Cassius slammed his quill down as he pushed his chair back while standing up.

"In the name of the damned Lord Inquisitor, what the hell do you want?!! Can't you see and hear that I'm clearly busy and do not wish to be disturbed?!!! Are you a fool? Are you inconsiderate for what others feel?!! Or are you simply a dumb retraded bastard?!!!"

He then walked over to the door, unlocked it, and slammed it open. He then looked out into the hall - left then right - as he yelled.

"Fine! Fine!! What the hell do you want?!! Huh?!! What could you possibly want from me?!!! Come on now, speak up!!! Don't be shy!!! I'm already wasting my time on you, so don't waste anymore of it!!!"

He looked around the hall. He already looked left and then right, but he did it twice. He looked for whoever the prankster was, but interestingly enough he couldn't see them. In fact he wasn't able to see anyone at all! The entire hallway was desolate. Nobody was there, absolutely no one. There wasn't even any indication of anyone approaching the door. There was not a single speck of dirt. There were no shoe marks.

"Gahhhh-- I must be getting old... That or these damn pranksters are getting good. Who would even play a cruel joke on an old general like me?"

As soon as he spoke, a set of glowing red eyes appeared behind him. Seconds later, a dagger ran across his neck.

...And that was the last time Captain-General Cassius was alive.

A cruel fate, isn't it?

To be executed by the kingdom you wished to save is a terrible fate. Just ask Augustus Cesar, who was executed by Captain Cassius while he was attempting to save the Kingdom of Humanity a long, long time ago.

What comes around goes around. It was only a matter of time until Icarus, widow of Augustus Cesar, took her revenge against Captain Cassius for what he did long ago. But honestly, I'm a little surprised by how quickly it happened. I thought there would be... I don't know... A buffer period?

I thought she would've waited for the Inquisition to have been defeated before getting rid of him.

I was wrong.

But, continuing on with this story...

The last morning before it would all crumble.

Icarus sat on her throne with a wide grin. Her eyes sanguine red, her hair long and snow white, and she was wearing a black flower dress with red, white and silver flowers. From the death of Captain-General Cassius, the enhancement of her armies, and the additions of the grandmasters into the Elemental Knights, she didn't feel a need to hide her true self anymore.

Part of her was afraid of what the Lord Inquisitor would think when he saw her. She had hoped that it wouldn't matter in the end. The dream of having him surrender to her and becoming subservient was a long shot - but it was something she would chase nevertheless.

Grandmaster Oramon and Pope Venetent were next to her.

"Empress Icarus, the Grand Wizard and the Inquisitor Jingks have returned from Black Frostaria. Grand Wizard Alexon is currently going down to the dungeon with Vohom. In a moment, Inquisitor Jingks shall discover Captain-General Cassius' body."

Icarus nodded.

"Grandmaster Oramon, have Inquisitor Jingks dealt with. Make sure he doesn't leave here without losing a leg or an arm."

"He'll be taken care of. What do you wish to happen with the Grand Wizard? Shall I have the Knight Order take care of him?"

"Pfftt--- hahahahahahahaaaa!!!"

Icarus burst into laughter as she looked down at the steps. An entire group of Elemental Knights, cladded from head to toe in silver armor trimmed with colors that represented the magic tree they fell under were right there and waiting for orders.

I believe it was the White Raven who claimed that the Elemental Knights were almost as strong as the Inquisitors themselves. His judgement is correct - and they'll prove it.

"Elemental Knights Zero fifty, Zero fifty-one , zero fifty-two, fifty-three, fifty-four, fifty-five, and fifty-six..."

The former Supreme Grandmaster Tiberius, Aerro, Maniac, Carbon, Shadow, Denzelmark and then Evilyne all bowed their heads according to their called out number. They too were dressed in the silver armor of the Elemental Knights.

Icarus stood up.

"...Let the unraveling of the Inquisition and the resistance to our change begin. My knights! Knights of Icarus!! Announce yourselves to Orion!! Bring death and destruction to all who oppose you!! March forward, bring this city to its feet!!!~ Show them their new gods!!!"
