Current day. Alpha didn't need any explanation for what he saw. From the interactions he had with Saiya thousands of years ago, he realized that she was a huge part of who he was. Part of him felt guilty because of that, he had left Saiya alone for a long time. But, she too had left him alone after he returned to Sol.

Either way, he recognized what Saiya was to the Alpha of then, and what she now felt about him.

Because of her feelings, he crossed his arms and lowered his head. He didn't want to look at her after seeing everything he saw. Simply put, he didn't know what to think about her.

I need an explanation for the latter half of that vision.

"Saiya, what did we just see?"

In reality, he wasn't asking her to explain the rings and the connotation of them, instead, he was trying to have her explain Nosferatu and Philta.

"You just saw how Nosferatu had tricked Alpha into returning to Sol, not with peaceful intentions, but with seething rage."

She turned to him.

"Solteer and Nosferatu, together, fooled Domination and Defiance into being against each other. Their manipulation outsmarted them, and ultimately, it's the reason why there is an everlasting rivalry between the Dragon King and the Minotaur King."

Back then, I folded my arms as I nodded. I agreed with Saiya and reflected on the events since that day.

"That day left lasting repercussions for Sol, so I remember it just as if it was yesterday. The rivalry between Domination and Defiance sent this world down the path of war and pain that has made nobody besides those two happy. It's a shame that it came to this, but it is what it is. I only wish it could be avoided."

Couldn't he have prevented it? If he's the creator of Jingks, I'd only assume that he was on the level of preventing war between the Longinus Covenants.

But that's something else... Right now, I'm more intrigued about Saiya.

"Why did you so easily believe Nosferatu, Saiya? If you questioned him back then, you could've prevented the destruction of the original Sol.

"That's a bad assumption."

"Hmm?"

Alpha turned to her and watched as her eyes looked towards the ground, remembering what had happened back in the day.

"I had some skepticism the entire time I listened to Nosferatu, but I never acted on it. If I came to a quick conclusion before doing my research, I could've put Alpha in harm's way, and things might've gotten worse. Besides... I didn't have any proof. He would've supported my thoughts and would've made a decision based on them, so I had to be careful."

She heaved a single breath. The decision she made weighed heavily on her.

"At the time, I couldn't risk losing him, so I refused to do anything that would endanger him. In all likelihood, Alpha would've stopped any harm that could've come his way from me telling him, but I didn't want to try it."

A very selfish move... But can you blame her for wanting to protect him?

I nodded in agreeance once again. At the time, me and Saiya were on the same wavelengths about all of this.

"In hindsight, it was the right move. The Solline where Saiya told Alpha about her suspicions ended up with both of you being sacrificed for Sol. So, while it was a questionable move, it was the right decision, and it proves that she had a heart full of affection and love for only Alpha."

Who else but a deeply devoted lover would sacrifice a perfect world just for one person?

I smirked while Alpha grinded his teeth. He was thinking about how the perfect world was sacrificed for the sake of love, and how that was selfish. All of the madness and suffering he was currently dealing with could've been avoided if Saiya and he had sacrificed their lives long ago. Easy for him to think that way when he would've been reincarnated while Saiya wouldn't have been... or at least I don't think so.

Either way... If Alpha knew about the other Sollines, he would be thanking her right now.

"More importantly..."

The me of then turned to Saiya.

"Is it time?"

"Time for what?" Alpha inquired.

Without hesitation, Saiya shook her head.

"He's not ready. Right now is not the time to reveal his identity. It wouldn't work if we gave it away. Only near the end can his identity be revealed to him, and that is when Alpha we desire will come back to us."

"Heh... The Alpha you desire?" Alpha tightened his crossed arms.

"But you already knew that, Laplace."

My eyes of then flashed electric-blue. I then smirked.

"Are you capable of time manipulation, Saiya?"

"No, but I am certainly no fool. I know more about Alpha than he knows about himself, and I'm aware of how things work. You should remember that for the next time something like this happens."

"Hmm... Maybe I will... Maybe I won't..."
