"Dad I need your help," I said. He turned about to say something and his eyes widened as he took in my appearance.

"Oh my god, are you alright?" he asked, fearfully. He ran over and pulled me into his arms.

"Yeah, I'm fine, it's not my blood. It's Nick's," I responded quietly, wrapping my arms around him. I cried into his shoulder and he rubbed my back as I cried.

"What is it baby girl? What do you need?" he asked pulling me over to his desk after a minute.

"We need to secure this room first. No recording, no video, nothing," I said. He nodded and stood up.

"Secure office," he ordered the system. Everything went quiet and the windows went dark. "Now what's going on kiddo?"

"Ok so you probably know that Nick was in our apartment last night," I began. I didn't know how much time we had before Steve got here so I needed to be quick so I didn't have to repeat anything. Dad nodded, urging me to continue. "He told us that SHIELD had been compromised and gave us a flash drive that Natasha had taken to the Lumerian Star and gotten info from. I don't know what's on it and why he gave it to us but he said not to trust anyone. Dad I think it's HYDRA." Dad's eyes widened again and he immediately became worried.

"Are you sure it's HYDRA?" he asked.

"Who else could it be? If it were anyone else, he would not have come to Steve and I would he? I mean I don't honestly see what else it could be," I said looking down at my hands. Just then there was a knock at the door. Dad went for his gun and stepped in front of me.

"Alia? Phil? Are you guys in there?" Steve's voice said. Dad let out a sigh of relief and opened the door. This unsecured the room but this was an easy fix. Steve darted inside and dad shut and locked the room again.

"Secure office," he ordered again and it went to the way it was before. Steve pulled me into his arms and held me tight.

"Pierce is on the warpath. He wants to know who killed Fury and he doesn't believe that Fury was in our apartment by accident. I told him exactly what Fury said about not trusting anyone and he got really suspicious. I honestly don't know what's going on but it's starting to rub me the wrong way," Steve said. He looked up at dad and sighed. "I really don't know what's about to happen but something tells me it isn't good. You might want to leave Phil."

"If it comes to that," dad said. "You're going to need ears and eyes in the building. I'll be here until it gets too dangerous to stay. Just take care of my daughter, Steve."

"You know I will," he responded, nodding. I stood up, hugging dad again and kissing his cheek.

"Please be careful dad," I said,   looking into his eyes.

"I will. You too kiddo," he said. I hugged him once more and Steve and I snuck out of his office. We walked down the hallway toward the elevator and walked in.

"Operations control," Steve ordered as we stepped into the elevator.

"Confirmed," it responded. The doors began to close but before they could, Rumlow stepped in with a couple of agents.

"Captain," he said simply. Steve looked up and noticed Rumlow staring at him.

"Rumlow," he responded. He put a hand on my waist and pulled me against him. He had been on edge since we left the hospital.

"Evidence response found some fibers on the roof they want us to see. Do you want me to get the tac-team ready?" Rumlow asked. He seemed very eager. A little too eager.

"No let's just see what it is first," Steve responded. Rumlow nodded, looking a little disappointed. I looked at the men and noticed that one of them had his hand on his taser and the other on his gun.

"Look at their hands," I said into Steve's mind. He looked down slightly and nodded when he saw what I was talking about. "Something isn't right."

"I think you are on to something," he replied, staring at Rumlow's back. We stopped on another level and a bunch of agents got onto the elevator. I stepped closer to Steve if it was possible and he held me tighter.

"Hey I'm really sorry about Fury. It's messed up what happened to him," Rumlow said suddenly.

"Thank you," Steve said and I just nodded. A lot of the men in the elevator looked very uncomfortable and the atmosphere was extremely tense. We stopped again and three more agents got on. Two of them walked behind us and one stood directly in front of the door.

"Before we get started," Steve started. I looked up at him, beginning to focus my energy into my hands preparing for a fight. "Does anyone want to get out?" It was silent for a moment and then the agent in front of us, attacked. It was bedlam. I couldn't throw energy blasts in the elevator, so I made do with using my energy to knock people out by touching them. It's like an electric shock kind of. I assume that is from my uncle Thor seeing as my mom didn't have that power as far as I know. Steve was kicking ass and after a few minutes the only agent left was Rumlow.

"Woah big guy," he said holding up a hand. Steve and I surrounded him. "I just want you to know, Cap, this isn't personal!" Then he came at me with a stick meant to shock you. I dodged it and Steve knocked him out.

"It kind of feels personal," Steve said panting. I bent over with my hands on my knees.

"I need to start running more," I said. Steve laughed. He walked over to the elevator doors and pushed them open to see whole group of SHIELD agents with their guns raised at us.

"Drop the shield! Put your hands in the air," one of them shouted. Steve slammed the doors shut and grabbed me before spinning around and cutting the elevator cables with his shield. I held on to him as we fell several floors before the elevators emergency system kicked in. We were in between two floors when we stopped, so Steve tried to open the doors again only to find yet another group of agents coming at us.

"Give it up Rogers! Get that door open! You and Agent Fraser have nowhere to go!" They yelled. Steve looked around the elevator for a moment before grabbing me and jumping through the glass wall of the elevator. I was so scared I couldn't even scream. We fell through the ceiling of the main atrium and hit the floor hard, Steve turning at the last moment so that I would land on top of him. I groaned my head spinning a little bit. He pulled me to my feet and we ran to the garage to get his bike.

"Next time you want to jump out of an elevator, warn me first, I could have  portalled us out of there," I said, as we ran.

"Yeah, that would have made more sense," he replied, jerking his head in agreement. We made it to his motorcycle and we jumped on rushing to get out of there.

"We need to get changed and get the drive," I said as he took off. He nodded revving the engine. Someone obviously did not want us to leave because the garage began to go into lock down. He revved the engines again and somehow was able to get us through the gates even though the doors were closing. We headed for the main gate and I was shocked to see that they had sent a quinjet after us. It spun around in midair and raised its guns at us.

"Take control," Steve shouted. I grabbed the handlebars as he threw his shield and jumped up onto the quinjet. He sent his shield into the engines and it spun out and crashed into the bridge on the opposite side. I brought the motorcycle to a halt and Steve jumped back on and we sped off towards our apartment.
