And that's how it stayed. They didn't talk in school in fact reki really talked to no one anymore. They were all to good for him in his mind.
Realizing his best friend had slowly distanced himself but having no idea how to get him to come back, langa just accepted it. Happily? Of course not. But he acknowledged that that was how things were going to stay, at least for a while.
A while? Weeks maybe? Well. Weeks turned into months and months turned into years. Reki and langa being down completely diffrent paths in life and langa not really having the same passion for skating, or anything, anymore. And reki pushing everyone away because they can't hurt him if he doesn't give them the chance, right?
