For all those opening up moments.
From morning until about noon, when the sun had risen above our heads, I was wandering around Lotus Pier.
So far, I had received many strange looks, continuous whispers and roads opening up in my passage, as if I were the Lernaean Hydra and I had come to devour them.
And so far I had discovered and realized one thing:
That in order to get out of there, I had to become a ninja.
Yes, you got it right. Ninja. Or a chameleon. The boundaries of the Lotus Pier were so guarded. There were purple-clothed guards everywhere. Even on the path in a forest there were guards at the end.
I sighed and walked down the street again to go back. This time I remembered where Jiang Cheng's 'home' was.
And also, my stomach was complaining loudly.
"Stop it. Fucking stomach" I swore like a mad-woman to my stomach and hit it lightly. As if it wanted to oppose me, it complained even louder.
"I will tear you apart!" I looked at my stomach and made a fist with my hand. "Stop complaining!"
"Are you hungry? Come and eat... "
One thing appeared in front of my face.
I took a step back and shook my hand. The thing fell to the floor.
"Ah. What are you doing? You just ruined a fish!"
I looked at Wei Wuxian with a look of anger. I brought my hand in front of my face. The smell was still there. I felt nauseous.
"What the hell are you doing putting it in front of my face? Are you crazy?" I broke out.
Wei Wuxian picked up the cooked fish from the ground and blew it. Then he started eating it. I wondered if he followed the three-seconds rule, or if the fish was on the ground a longer time. "Why? After all, your stomach can be heard all over Lotus Pier."
I tried to calm my breath and ignored him. My vision blurred for a while, but then I found it again. I had not eaten it, so that was good.
After a few minutes, after staying that way, I raised my head and lowered my hand from my face.
"Come on, don't be like that, I didn't mean it! Sorry. Don't cry," said Wei Wuxian.
I ignored him and took a deep breath. I noticed that he was accompanied by Lan Zhan, Jiang Cheng and Nie Huaysang, who seemed to know each other.
I turned to Lan Zhan. "I don't know what you will do. You will teach him some manners, or I will, after I put all the fish in his mouth and it stays in his throat."
Wei Wuxian wore a complaining expression. "It's like you're Jiang Cheng number two! Why are you so tough? Don't you eat fish? Are you secretly a Lan and don't know it? Hey, Lan Zhan" he turned to his friend and hugged him. He was almost ready to jump on him. "Are you sure she's not a Lan? Although her manners are not at all similar, her habits are similar to all the Lan! If you exclude the way she speaks."
I scoffed and I put my hands on my waist. "Guys, go get a room, if possible. Also, apart from the fact that I do not eat meat and I am vegan, I am allergic to fish!"
"And why didn't you say so from the beginning?" Wei Wuxian cried, almost weeping.
I couldn't stand him anymore. I had grown with many babies in my life because of my cousins, foster brothers and so on, but he was the worst baby of all.
