Tauriel chapter WOOO LETS GOOO
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was only Tauriel and Hannah left from her Elite Squad in Romanov. It was not very hard to get past them on her solo mission. There was no argument or debate that she would be gone for a few days. Hannah said nothing, knowing very well where Mikasa was going and what she was doing.
The young girl kept her mouth shut, and Tauriel didn't even bother asking. She understood when her Captain wanted to be vague, and knew this was one of those moments.
The three were in Mikasa's room. The Captain was strapping various weapons to her, donning the new gear Ruby had made. She filled with leather straps, dark clothes, and silver blades. She looked deadly, and Mikasa reveled in that fact.
Tauriel was leaning against the wall beside the door, one door foot propped against it with her arms crossed. Hannah was simply sitting on the floor, her back against the wall beside Tauriel. One leg was propped up, while the other was outstretched. Hannah let an arm hang off her knee in a laidback manner.
Mikasa finished wrapping her weapons, her gorgeous dual wield daggers glinting before Mikasa threw her dark cloak on. "Should anything happen, follow Tauriel. Obey her orders, understand?"
Hannah, to her credit, simply nodded and said yes. No argument, no glares, nothing. Mikasa took a moment after their dismissal to reflect on that. The young girl had sure come a long way from that Scout she had met so long ago.
It seemed like ages ago, Mikasa mulled. It really wasn't all too long ago, but with everything that happened it certainly felt that way.
Mikasa sighed, pulling her hood up over her head and darting into the night. Off to her next mission. The sooner she had everything in order, the sooner Annie could come back.
-------
Tauriel stood outside of Hannah's room.
Hannah's words echoed in her own head. You are someone worth redeeming.
Tauriel scoffed. She didn't really feel like someone who was. In fact, she felt absolute crap. She let her own troubles with Mavick get in between her friendships. She spiraled, and she did what she knew how to do best. Avoid her problems through charm and wit. It earned her a slap to face, and rightfully so.
Guilt was heavy on Tauriel. By the walls, she really did that just to avoid talking. To Hannah of all people, someone who actually gave a damn about her for whatever gods forsaken reason. Tauriel couldn't figure it out.
Tauriel took a deep breath, and she knocked on the door. She rapped three times and let her hand fall. She wasn't ready to talk about what ailed her that night, but she most certainly wanted to explain herself to Hannah.
And apologize profusely.
The door opened, revealing a very tired and surprised looking Hannah. She had no gear on, and her deep set eyes told Tauriel that she had woken the poor girl up. That certainly didn't help her case.
All of sudden Tauriel became nervous, her hands becoming clammy. "Hey."
"Hi," Hannah replied, her voice tight. She leaned against the doorframe, her body tense.
"I...can we talk?"
Hannah raised a brow, crossing her arms. "About?"
"Last night," Tauriel began. She was not exactly sure how to even begin this conversation. Opening up was never her strong suit, clearly. Even less, apologizing was not her strong suit either. Not because she didn't want to, she desperately did, but because she was not sure how to do it well. Fighting, sarcastic remarks, Tauriel was a master at those. Emotional vulnerability, not so much.
