So the way I write is that I write scenes and piece then together and boom the chapter comes. Here are some one-liners from next chapter and chapters beyond that one to set a bit of a teaser and maybe have you guessing what's to come.

"No, I'm not leaving you. Don't ask me to do that!"

"Go!" Mikasa told her. "We'll hold them off, just go!"

"Yeah? I didn't see you coming up with any ideas."

"I never asked for this!" She screamed at him, and it was a throaty pained sound. Tears began to build in her eyes. "You killed them! You killed them you murderer!"

"M-mom?"

"We have two choices," Armin told him, the darkness of the room making his blue eyes glow, "them or us."

"Oh great," She said out loud. "Because the situation wasn't shitty before."

She laughed out loud, her eyes crinkling in amusement. "We're going to die."
~~~~~~~~~~
She glared at him, looking at him beneath her eyebrows. "I will kill you, I can promise you that, and when I do, I will rip your heart out."

She began counting her fingers as she listed, "Let's see, violent, cold, insane, murderous tendencies, a Titan Shifter. Wow, I can't believe I didn't see the family resemblance."
