It was night time when the reception of the wedding had begun. The married couple, Krista and Ymir, were dancing in the middle of the backyard. Mikasa leaned against the frame of a wall, gazing at the couple who slow danced. The smaller of the two, Krista, Mikasa believed was her name, wore a giant grin as she stared up at her wife. Ymir wore a smile just as big, and neither said anything.

Mikasa wondered what that would be like.

To be dancing with someone you love, carefree of any responsibilities, if only for just a moment.

Mikasa breathed in deeply, and exhaled softly. The soft tunes played by a some friends of Yang filled the entire space. Mikasa had to admit, after seeing how Romanov looked like, she wondered exactly how they would turn the backyard into a proper reception for a wedding.

She was pleasantly surprised at how it turned out. String lights hung across the entire yard, crisscrossing this way and that, bathing the entire place in golden light. There was a table near the entrance of the bard from the house, and it held drinks and finger foods. There was more inside, but most of the guests stayed outside sitting in the foldable chairs that lined the fence of the yard. Some people moved the chairs to sit closer to their friends and chat.

The "band", or as Mikasa knew as Yang's friends, stayed in a corner of the yard playing their instruments with smiles on their faces.

"It came out pretty cool, didn't it?" Hannah asked.

If Mikasa were a little girl again, she would've jumped out of her bones from how Hannah sneaked up on her. However, the ex-captain simply looked to her side nonchalantly. "It did."

"Have you seen the others?"

Mikasa shook her head. "No. Not since this started thirty minutes ago. Maybe they're in the house."

"Ill go look," Hannah offered.

Hannah made her way towards the inside of the house. She found none of her Squad members, and decided to get a drink instead. She went back outside and made her way to the drinks table. Grabbing an empty cup, she went inside to get water from the kitchen since the drinks table was rather full at the moment. She did not want to be near a crowd all too much. Too many people cost her too much energy of interaction, and after the week she has had she would rather be a wallflower.

She stepped inside, but tripped from the uneven wooden flooring. Her cup fell as Hannah caught herself with her hands on the floor. Hannah winced from how hard she fell, but shook it off. She saw her cup in front of her, and reached out to get it.

A hand picked her cup up before Hannah could, and they lifted it up gently and offered it to the young girl. "You okay?" Annie asked genuinely, extending her other hand out to help Hannah get up.

Hannah stared at Annie, whose light blue eyes bore down at her, completely stupefied.

Annie, borrowing from Blake, wore a V-neck shirt that clung to her in all the right places. This time, Annie wore her hair down in a half-up half-down style, letting several stray hairs fall away and frame her face. The slender curves of her face was accentuated by this, and nothing but gentleness was exuding off of Annie. She looked beautiful, and it was enough to trap anyone in this soft aura.

"Hannah?" Annie asked, confused as to why the girl hadn't responded.

Hannah snapped out of it, and she shook her head of the frozen stupor she was in. "Sorry, I was lost in my head. Thanks," She said, grabbing the cup and standing up by herself.

Annie didn't seem to be bothered that Hannah didn't take her hand. She instead smiled kindly and said, "You look nice."

The Female Titan walked to the yard, and Hannah stared after her.
