I drag Lizzie towards my room, she's slightly dazed from what she just did but she'll be fine.
locking my door after me as I lay her on my bed, rushing to my bathroom to get my first aid kit, obviously my blood would heal her, but if something happened, we'd have a Lizzie Saltzman on crack running around.
I return back to my room, to see Lizzie looking at her wrist like it was abnormal.
"You going to tell me what started this off... I can't even leave you alone for 5 minutes without something like this happening" I respond.
I start to check out her hand, its slightly bruised and bloody, however it is not her blood.
"You'll laugh at me" Lizzie smirks.
"I don't think I will... I don't want to end up like Penelope now do I" I chuckle.
As I begin to wrap her hand in clean bandages, She winces slightly.
It may ruin her look for tonight, however she's going to look like a complete badass with it so I don't really care.
"She made some sly comment about you" Lizzie spits out after a little while of consideration.
I sit there, slightly smug... having a 5ft,10 blonde girl who's willing to beat the living daylights out of a girl for something about me... give me a moment to take that in.
I look up at her, making eye contact.
"What did she say" I ask her.
"This is going to boost your ego more than it should isn't it." Lizzie adds.
"Oh of course" I joke.
"She said about how because you couldn't get Josie... I was your second option basically. Making out like that if you were given the chance, you'd choose her" Lizzie turned to face me.
"Are you joking? You came first... There isn't a choice to be made Lizzie, its you... I don't know where Josie came into this..." I grasp her hands in mine.
"No... I know" Lizzie eyes glaze the floor.
"Look at me" I tilt her jawline up to face me.
"Its you" I add.
I could see Lizzie slightly tear up.
Lizzie's hand rests on my cheek, looking at one another like we're the only people on earth.
Just as I feel something is about to happen.
The door flew open, as an unexpected face stands there. Lizzie stood up instantly and acted like nothing was going on.
"Sorry I definitely should've knocked" Jade's voice re-considers massively.
"I was just giving Hope her homework" Lizzie strains her voice.
"Hey... hey its cool... She knows" I tell Lizzie.
However her expression is shocking... Looking at me like I'd just killed her entire family out of spite.
"What" Lizzie chokes up.
"I'll come back later" Jade rushes off.
"Are you serious right now Hope" Lizzie's tone becomes more annoyed.
"I'm sorry" I apologise.
"No... No you can't just go around telling anyone you feel like telling." Lizzie begins to yell, she was pissed.
I haven't seen her like this for a while.
"I didn't know... she won't tell anyone" I try to calm her down.
"Well its too late now isn't it... don't you get it... she used to see Josie. What if they work it all out and get back together... you think she won't tell Josie?" Lizzie was panicked...
"She wouldn't do that" I choke up.
I could feel tears begin to form... I was so angry at myself, of course she wouldn't like it.
"You've known her for what... 2 days? I bet you couldn't wait to tell her that..." Lizzie yells.
"Lizzie I'm so sorr-" I try to apologise.
"That isn't your secret to tell Hope" Lizzie begins to calm down... but still angry.
"I was just excited... I was slightly drunk... Lizzie I'm so sorry" I begin to cry a little.
"Thats not a good enough excuse... for fuck sake... what happens if you fall out? Will she go around school and spill it? Hope thats so fucking stupid oh my god" Lizzie starts to panic once more.
A sense of silence fills the room. None of us doing anything.
Lizzie flings her arms into the air, and wraps them around her head... But in the midst of that I flinch slightly... She saw this too.
I knew she wouldn't hit me... but I have tightened reflexes... she definitely saw it too.
"Did you just..." Lizzie's tone turns to more disappointment.
"Do you really think I'd-" Lizzie cuts herself off.
Without saying a word, all she does is storm out the room.
Leaving me there.... all alone, I can't blame anyone but myself.
