Okay, I'm inconsistent af. I said I would upload next week, and while I won't upload anymore parts until at least Monday the 31st, I couldn't resist publishing this one. :)

Chapter 8 Part 1 of 5: Rendezvous

Not many students talked much about the stuff shown on the news, as the only ones to have read any articles released by the White Room Agency thus far are the introverts that keep quiet.

The next day, however, as Kiyotaka is making his way to school, things would be different.

Two people are accompanying him, Hiyori and Fuuka, the former of the duo basking in the comfortable silence with Kiyotaka.

Kiryuuin looks like she wants to say something. 'Horikita-girl texted me this morning and told me that she will be going to school earlier than us. I wonder if something happened between her and Ayano-boy yesterday after the incident?' She opened her mouth to speak, but decided against it.

"W-What the hell is this?!" A nearby student, Yahiko Totsuka of Class D, shouted, gaining the attention of many nearby as his fellow students are trying to make their way to their respective classes.

Others began asking him why he shouted.

"What's up?"

"Is something wrong?"

"Yeah! Read the news! The article titled 'White Room ANHS student' says that a kid basically put through the modern-day Spartan program is attending this school."

Kiyotaka and Kiryuuin heard this. Seeing as there is enough time to make it to class if he takes a moment, he stayed behind and told Kiryuuin and Hiyori to go ahead as he very slowly trails them.

Pulling out his phone, he read the article:

"Many Japanese citizens have been hearing the term 'White Room' thrown around a lot lately, and for those that work at or attend ANHS, things are going to get a lot more interesting.

As Prime Minister Nakajima already explained, the White Room illegally trains kids as young as 4 years old in both mind and body. If they survive the White Room, they became extremely capable, but it pushes them well past their limit. As a result, many children die and few ever survive.

However, one such student did. That student is from the most infamous generation of them all, the Demonic 4th Generation, which had only one out of 100 students survive, and he has not only escaped from the White Room, but is also attending ANHS.

It is unknown why the government is hiding his identity, but given the Prime Minister's good reputation, he must have a good reason. All we know is that this student is referred to as 'The White Room's Masterpiece'. For now, we will refer to this mysterious being as Mr. X, or just X.

We are trying to ask if we can get some interviews with ANHS students and faculty, but because it's a private school, local officials and police keep denying our requests.
