I'm writing this chapter on four hours of sleep and on top of coming home from a 9 hour work shift lol.

But seriously, I just want to get through Volume 3 and 4 so I can start writing what I really have planned, because my god am I excited for it.

Kiryuuin Fuuka POV

We won. Class B won the Island Exam.

Even Suzu-girl and I don't know the full extent of what he did. I'm confused. All he did was give us orders to follow without filling us in on the full extent of his plan despite not knowing exactly what we all did.

He never told us that Ibuki-girl was involved in his schemes, and same goes for Tokitou-boy, all of whom were just as surprised as the rest of us at each other's involvement.

Somehow I'm both not surprised and surprised at the same time. When certain people call him a masterpiece, they weren't joking. Not that I was expecting them to be, but it's like he's winning without even trying while using people not even worthy of being anything close to a Pawn.

I'm starting to understand why Amasawa worships him.

CLICK!

CLACK!

The sound of a pair of high heels echoes throughout the mostly empty medical wing of the ship.

I turn to my left and see the person I'm meeting up with: Chabashira Sae, sensei of Class D.

Right now, I'm waiting outside the room Dragon Boy is resting his injured, angry little head in. I'm supposed to rendezvous with my classmates in there, but I came half an hour early to have a conversation with this woman.

She sits down next to me. "Good that you came, Kiryuuin," She says as she exhales a long puff from her cigarette.

I smirk. "Sensei, you really shouldn't smoke. It will ruin your good looks. It's no wonder that no man wants to marry you."

WHOOSH!

A gust of wind lifts my hair a little as her fist embeds into the wall behind me, denting it from a simple graze at a rather sharp angle.

Sensei glares at me as I remain unfazed. "Shut up, brat. A kid like you has no right to talk like that about her elders!"

I shrug. "Just speaking the truth, but in the adult world, I guess the truth hurts." I let out a disappointed sigh. "How pathetic, really. You'll destroy my beauty the longer you are in my presence, so get on with it already."

"I want him."

My heart just jumped.

There's no way she's referring to him, right? If so, how does she know? Even the teachers must have limited knowledge of the outside world for as long as this school year is in session...

It is, quite simply, impossible for her to have unearthed the identity of X.

"Who?" I play dumb.

"Ayanokouji Kiyotaka, the most popular student of Class B. I want him in my class. He's the only one that can help me reach Class A."

Is it just me, or is it a little hot in here?
