Time sped by fast as it always did when they got to spend it together. With their hand entwined they made their way down the big halls of Maya's clinic. Maya acted as if she knew exactly where she was going with every turn she took. She most certainly did not have a clue. Carina though seemed to believe in Maya's expertise. Both of them dreaded this moment though they knew it had to come eventually. Every time they had to say goodbye was a good reassurance of why they were getting married. Neither of them wanted to part ways ever again. Or the least possible amount.

After getting lost twice, which was expected, they were almost in the entrance hall again. Maya still held Carina's hand in hers and was about to pull her in the sight of everyone else until she felt a tug on her hand. The tug was gentle but still strong enough to pull her around facing Carina. She had that lustful smirk on her lips she so often had while teasing Maya. Maya's eyebrows furrowed in confusion as to why her hand was pulled away from their original destination. Before her mouth could form a question Carina pulled her into a kiss. It was a delicate kiss, their lips touching and moving in a slow rhythm. If they could, they would probably go on forever. Carina's hands slowly cupped Maya's face without pulling her lips away. Before the kiss could get more passionate and lead to inappropriate things Carina pulled away. Again with a smirk on her lips. Maya gave her a vindictive look and pursed her lips. Joking mostly but a little bitter about the missing touch of Carina's lips. Until her mouth curled up into a smile.

"I'll see you on your next check-up Captain Bishop," Carina said with a wink in Maya's direction which immediately made her blush like crazy. Which of course was a little silly considering the fact Carina was her fiancee and not some attractive woman she saw on the street or at a bar. "See you then, Doctor DeLuca," Maya replied with a smile growing slightly on her face. Carina slowly walked out of the big building knowing Maya's eyes were still watching her. Maya couldn't help but let her eyes drift down Carina's body ever so slightly. She watched until Carina disappeared into her car.

Maya was now back in her room. In 20 minutes she was supposed to be a group therapy and it annoyed her deeply. She knew that she couldn't get out of it given she was literally in a clinic for stuff like group therapy but she could still be annoyed. While Carina was here her mind drifted off into desired realities and not letting her thoughts go to places she so deeply hated. Places that made her paralyzed and vulnerable in the worst ways possible. She forced herself to push that thought aside and mentally prepared herself for what was ahead.

"How is everyone doing today?" Ben asked with a melancholy smile. Or what seemed to be one. Some started answering the questions while Maya fidgeted around with her cuticles. Leaving one of them a little bloody. Her thoughts weren't spinning which was unusual but pleasant and her mind drifted off to Carina and not to calories. Now that she thought more about it of course it did. She didn't have time to go towards that spiral because her thoughts were interrupted by a question thrown toward her.

"Maya is it true you were in a coma and your hot doctor came by to check up on you today?" April asked very curiously. Maya's eyes grew at that question. She started to blush almost instantly. Maya was completely stunned. "I mean I know you have a fiancee and your straight but you can't deny the fact that she's hot." April wiggled her eyebrows making Maya even more uncomfortable. Do people not know bisexuality is a thing? "Uh, yes I was in a coma after passing out at a bar and hitting my head pretty hard." She answered the question avoiding the part about Carina and her being hot. She could feel August staring daggers at her. She was the only one who knew that she was lying. Denaying the fact that Carina was hot and lying about today being a "check-up" when it was clearly not. The problem with August having a crush on Maya was still lingering in the air. Having a fiancee should scare one off right? But obviously, it didn't scare August away.

"Do you know if she's single?" April wouldn't budge. Before Maya could even think about an answer August intertwined. "She's actually engaged. To a woman." August intentionally added the woman part. She certainly did. "Oh, I could get rid of her fiancee now that I know she's gay," April smirked while saying it. "She's bi." Maya couldn't help herself she barely even noticed correcting April. She couldn't keep letting them deny the fact that being bi was a thing and letting them assume people's sexuality. As she looked up again, she noticed all eyes were now placed on her. No one expected her to say anything. She wasn't the type to or at least not in group therapy. "And how would you know that Mrs. Bishop? Cheating on your fiancee?" Maya hated April's guts right now and dreamed about pushing her even though she couldn't. Maya decided to ignore her and just act as no one had talked to her. April and August we're still deep in conversation. Discussing who could have Carina and how hot she was. All Maya wanted to do is throw up. She knew people could be disgusting sometimes but she didn't expect them to burst the way they were right now.

Their conversations only stopped when Ben intertwined and took the focus back to therapy. He was clearly just as uncomfortable as Maya was. But somehow he still couldn't get himself to defend Maya or Carina. Why should he anyway?

When therapy was finally over Maya could escape the terrible Situation and slowly made her way up to her room. Still very furious with April and August. Why did stuff like this always happen? Why can't one just leave people in peace? Or maybe learn what should be spoken and what not?

(Hey, I just started a new school so I don't know how often I'll be able to post I hope you understand as always let me know what you think. Oh, and I know there is someone named April reading my Fic I am so sorry hahaha)
